Escape to Creeksong Campground, a peaceful forested oasis tucked away in a mountain valley, where a year-round creek winds through the property. On hot Okanagan summer days, cool off in the clean mountain stream or relax in the dappled shade of the surrounding forest. Creeksong offers a simple, nature-focused camping experience for those who appreciate the quiet outdoors. Access is via a gravel road leading to four campsites nestled among mature trees, native shrubs and flora. Each site is cleared but remains rustic, with uneven, grassy, and scrubby terrain that blends naturally into the landscape. This campground is best suited for tents, campervans, motorcycles, truck campers, and mini trailers. Creeksong is not suitable for large RVs. Your hosts, Bob and Jen, provide clean, basic campsites with an outhouse and handwashing station. There are no hookups or modern amenities—just fresh mountain air, the peaceful sound of the creek, and the opportunity to unplug and reconnect with nature. Cell service is available intermittently. To help preserve the quiet, relaxing atmosphere, we do not allow parties, loud music, or campfires (due to forest fire risk). Friendly dogs are welcome in the campground and must remain on leash. Our three resident dogs also enjoy calling Creeksong home. Gas BBQs and camp stoves are permitted when used on a non-flammable surface. Located just 12 km from Lumby, and 22 km from Vernon, with the nearest gas station and café 8 km away in Lavington, Creeksong offers the feeling of peaceful seclusion while remaining within easy reach of services. The surrounding Aberdeen Plateau is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Explore mountain lakes, scenic forest trails, the stunning Bluenose Mountain viewpoint hike, or the unique geological formations of the Aberdeen Columns. These destinations are all approximately a 30-minute drive along beautiful mountain roads. As with any wilderness setting, please help keep both wildlife and campers safe by securely storing all food and garbage. We are a pack-in, pack-out campground, and garbage service is not available. Fall asleep to creeksong, wake to birdsong, and experience the quiet beauty of the Okanagan. We look forward to welcoming you to Creeksong Campground.

Site 1 is our largest site and can accommodate a small group such as a couple of families who want to camp together. It can hold up to 3 vehicles. It is adjacent to the small swimming hole and surrounded by brush and forest. It is the site nearest to the outhouse and road. This site has a picnic table.

Site 2- Creekside 2 level site

Site 2 is creek adjacent, situated about 6 ft above the creek for a beautiful view of the water. The little shared campground beach area is very short stroll away. This is a two level site. The parking space is beside the road and the campsite is a few steps down to a lower level. It is private and completely surrounded by forest. All of our sites are cleared, raw land. They are not perfectly flat and are scrubby and grassy.

Site 3- Forest Side

Site 3 is a bit horseshoe shaped. It is not creek adjacent but has access to the campground's shared beach area on the creek, which is a short stroll away. This site is surrounded by forest and is well shaded. The outhouse is nearby, you will pass it on your way to Site 3. All of our sites are cleared, raw land. They are scrubby and grassy.

Site 4- Creekside Hide Away

There is a map posted at the bottom of the hill when you enter Creeksong. Site 4 is at the far end of the campground and is creek adjacent. It is surrounded by forest and brush. Parking is just across the road from Site 4. The outhouse and shared campground swimming hole is a short walk from your site. All of our sites are cleared, raw land. They are not perfectly flat and are scrubby and grassy.

Creeksong Heritage Log Cabin

Step back to a simpler time at the original homestead of Creeksong. Hand-built many years ago, this one bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, furnished heritage log cabin has been lovingly preserved as a cozy place to slow down and reconnect with nature. If you're looking for polished luxury, this isn't it. But if you appreciate history, quiet forests, and the character of an old cabin with stories in its walls, you'll feel right at home. Nestled beneath the trees and just steps from the creek, the cabin offers a peaceful retreat where the sound of running water replaces the noise of everyday life. Spend your days reading on the porch, exploring the forest, or cooling off in the creek's natural swimming hole before returning to the warmth and simplicity of the cabin. Inside you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including one bedroom, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Although there is only the one double bed, we do allow 1 additional guest to accompany you and sleep on the couch. The furnishings are simple and the atmosphere is wonderfully rustic, reflecting the cabin's heritage rather than modern trends. It's comfortable, functional, and full of old-world charm. The cabin boasts a working record player, vinyl included, circa 1970. The cabin is located on the same property as the hosts' home. While you'll likely see us coming and going, we respect our guests' privacy and are nearby if you need anything during your stay. Come for the creek, the trees, and the timeless simplicity. Leave feeling rested, grounded, and just a little more connected to a simpler time.

I stayed at site number 2 and it was so beautiful! The creek is super close and sounds amazing while hanging out at the site. You can really tell Jen and Bob put a lot of effort into maintaining the camp. They have a map and clear labels with good directions so you don’t get lost as well. It’s very private, I didn’t even hear anyone drive down the road so if you’re looking for a more secluded/ private campground I would definitely recommend this site. Thanks for the stay!

This campground was amazing! It was easy to find and pull in, especially with the little map sign. Super private and right next to a little creek which was absolutely beautiful. The outhouse was so clean and the handwashing station was perfect. Genuinely no complaints, this place is incredible.

It was a very peaceful stay by the creek, wonderful to hear and have easy access to. Would go again only downside I would say is thier isn't picnic tables at every site but that's just more of a personal opinion we loved our stay 😊

Campsite 1- Spacious Meadow
Our family enjoyed a great time together at Creeksong. Bob and Jenn contacted us right away after we reserved the site (Site 1 with picnic table) and we also had a visit from Jenn with their friendly puppy during our stay. The location felt safe yet still in the wilderness with the quietness and an amazing night sky full of stars. The sound of the flowing nearby creek was fabulous! We highly recommend this off-grid camping location and will be back ourselves!
