We had a great time and would absolutely come back. We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and outside of the celebrations, which were to be expected, it was beyond peaceful. Having firewood and a restroom there was also a huge bonus.
I would like to give feedback on some of the comments I saw about here. The neighbor did accidentally pop in thinking we were the owner, but he was respectful and apologized for bothering us so it was a non issue. The site is actively being devolved so there was stuff there, but its a non issue in regards to the stay. There is plenty of space and freedom with nothing in the way and actually builds some excitement for the future of the site!
If the owner will have us, we'd gladly come back next time we are in town. I will reccomend this place to others.

The site was a bit hard to find a flat spot for a jeep with a rooftop tent and a small gazebo, but we did find a spot near the entrance! The fire pit and trash can were great touches. Gravel in the roadway makes the way getting in way easier, truck had zero trouble. Unfortunately the deer flies and mosquitoes were extremely bad this time, we could barely spend time outside of our shelter. Bring tons of bug spray and traps if you have them. We were swarmed almost the whole time except sunrise and sunset.

Great little spot if you are in the area. Minutes away from Epping, so it was perfect for our needs. Keep in mind where it is located, as it is not some off grid, remote spot.

The site was beautiful, but we had a very hard time finding it. It was thanks to reading other reviews that we found out how to get there. Go past the Park sign at the end of the main road, through the dirt road and you will see a do not trespass sign on the left-hand side. That is where to turn.

Le terrain et l’emplacement est parfait pour les amateurs de camping avec des commodité tel que les toilettes ( un must à mon avis) . L’hôte est super accueillant et généreux. Il nous attend à l’arrivé et nous fait faire le tour du propriétaire. J’y retournerais anytime

Two incredibly drunk guys on four wheelers showed up saying they are friends with owner and also live on the property(which is littered with broken down cars and half built sheds). Asked my pregnant wife and I if we want to shoot guns once it gets dark out. After repeatedly telling him I don’t mix guns and alcohol he insisted he would be back soon and we could shoot guns. We tossed everything in the back of the truck and took off as fast as we could. This is not a camp site, this is a place where drunk rednecks hang out and do dangerous stuff. Was also my first HipCamp experience… complete nightmare.

My dog and I went to Michael’s property for 2 nights and had an awesome time. The puddles were a little intimidating at first (even with my AWD Trailblazer) but I got through it without any problems. Definitely bring bug and tick spray!
Was only on the property at night, to set up my car tent and have a little fire before going to sleep. There are MANY flat spots for a tent and has a nice fire pit. Plenty of room for my dog to run around while still being in sight. It definitely gave me the solitude I wanted while being close to a popular vacation spot. It’s a nice little drive to Hampton Beach. Since I brought my dog and it’s peak season I wasn’t able to go to many local beaches during the day. Wells Beach in ME allows dogs longer into the season and It’s only about a little over an hour away. We enjoyed our beach days there and went to Seabrook Beach in NH after 6 pm. Seabrook is a small beach with and wasn’t very busy when I was there. Would recommend checking it out for a more calm beach visit.

Great space and land can walk the trails or just site by the fire at the site. Could run a small game of football while completely leaving the fire pit and tables alone. Nice and secluded but not crazy far in the woods or from the city.

We arrived well into darkness and were worried about finding the camp. It really wasn’t hard and we easily found a flat area to park and set-up our rooftop tent. Left early morning so didn’t get to enjoy the space but were thankful for an easy, quiet, off the beaten path, safe location. Thank you Michael.

This is our fourth trip to Mike's camp site and we look forward to it every year! Tons of space, always tidy, just enough "amenities", and abutting conservation land so you can just walk out of your site and go for a walk in the woods. We always have a great time, thanks Mike!

The land was big enough to feel alone, while close enough to go our for supply runs. The "puddles" during rain get pretty big, but with a bit of leg work and digging out the side trenches, it was fine. The host left wood to be used, had rinse water, and made sure the area was secured. When going to the site, there is a private property sign, that's how you'll know you're there. Great time had by all, thank you!

Such a beautiful spot! So big with different spots to camp. Was looking for a spontaneous night out last minute and he was very responsive. Definitely wouldn’t try without a big vehicle, my Fj did it but a small car might not make it thru the puddles. Very private and peaceful.

This was the perfect spot for our quick overnight stay! We appreciated the amenities including the toilet and the fire pit! It was easy to find given the host-written directions, and we enjoyed having the space to ourselves.

Nice open area. Good place to just get away. Not far off the road. On the main access road there were some larger puddles I had to drive through, so not for a car or small SUV. And once past that obstacle, it was just a few yards to his camp. Nice quaint place

Cozy and secluded spot on a class six road! Michael was a superb host that offered us firewood and is responsive! The scenery is amazing and the location of the fire pit and tables nearby provided us a great spot for cooking and enjoying a beer by the fire!

The site had a lot more of the owner’s personal belongings around the campsite than anticipated based on booking photos. We ended up taking our tent down and leaving the site at 10 pm because ATVs and gunshots (hunting) kept waking us up. Fortunately we only live 1.5 hours away from the site so just drove home. Not as peaceful as we had hoped for.

What an amazing camp site!!!! Don't be scared of the "PUDDLES"...they are NOT deep and easy to drive through. The campsite was very secluded and full of wildlife. One of the best hip camps we have stayed at!!! Thank you we WILL be back! 😀

Perfect spot for a beginner campers or anybody who just wants to get away. Town is just five minutes away where you can get all of your essentials but you’re also in the woods and can drive your truck right up to the campsite. Only one neighbor around who is super nice and friendly.

It was lovely! We felt luxurious with a chemical toilet, firepit + wood, tables, and more. We went on a hike in the nearby woods and saw nobody all day. At night the sky was bright and we were glad we brought our telescope. Michael was great at communicating when needed, and our older Subaru (low clearance but AWD) was fine with the mud puddles.
One thing to be aware of is if you visit during hunting season you will hear gunshots. They were mostly far away, and our dog is now hard of hearing so it didn't bother him at all. But it might be good to bring some bright gear if you plan to go out. We didn't think about it beforehand.

Great spot with a lot of space. Chemical toilet is a plus. Will be coming back for sure. Just as the description said, there are deep muddy puddles so don’t take your lowered civic. Wasn’t had to find in day light.

Easy to find and quiet! We arrived late so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit but it looked great. The road in is rough, we enjoyed it in our off-road capable vehicle, but a car would struggle. We will be back! Thanks!
