Hampton Park is located in Winslow, just a 10 minute drive north of Warrnambool. We’re ideally positioned close to Lake Cartcarrong, Tower Hill, Koroit, Port Fairy and Woolsthorpe, making it the perfect base to explore the region. Experience the peace and tranquillity of back-to-basics country living. Hampton Park offers spacious grassed camping areas surrounded by beautiful farmland, gardens, lawns and established trees. This quiet, peaceful property is home to resident koalas and abundant birdlife. Guests are welcome to enjoy a community campfire in the designated area only. Bagged firewood is available for purchase, and all local fire regulations must be strictly followed. You’re free to choose your own grassed area to set up camp. Please note that Hampton Park has no amenities, so campers must be fully self-contained with their own toilet and follow a strict leave-no-trace policy. We are dog-friendly; however, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times due to the koalas on the property. Fresh water is available from multiple taps across the property for your pets. What a great camp. Rob ensures the grass is beautiful which is lovely for the kids to play on. There is shade and sun available for different setups. The camp is not far out of Warrnambool and 5 mins to Koroit which is an interesting little town. The site is level and the setting is beautiful.

Rob and Julie provided a camp area that was so peaceful and relaxing. Whilst there was a few other people there it felt like there was no one around. 100% recommend!

Flat green grass area surrounded by shady trees & birds singing. Cute touches eg a swing in a tree & an old truck and wagon which added some atmosphere. Warmly welcomed.

Superb location in the middle of nowhere, very friendly owners who make an effort to get to know their guests, very well-maintained grounds with the option of having a communal campfire. No toilets or showers, which was specified in the advert, so it is more suitable for caravans.

A beautiful, peaceful location to spend the night! Rob & Julie were both very welcoming, we'd highlight recommend a stay here if you're looking to explore Warrnanbool, Port Fairy and surrounds and you enjoy being away from the busy caravan parks!

Hampton Park - Grassed Site
This was our first time at Hampton Park and we definitely will return. We were fortunate to set up down the back on the left hand side and had a great little corner. We loved the lush green grass, overlooking the cow paddocks, the visits from the friendly birds, how close it was to Koroit for supplies, it was a short drive to Warrnambool for a shower at the aquatic centre ($2.50 per person) and a nice drive to Port Fairy for the day. Rob the owner made you feel welcome and the other campers come and go so they were no bother - we stayed 5 nights and could have easily stayed longer. You need to be self sufficient (which is fine for us) - overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend the hipcamp - for us the gardens were the best and a great spot to relax and read under one of the trees.

Lovely grassy shady area to park on. Plenty of room. Rob was very friendly and welcoming. A very peaceful setting with the occasional mooing from neighbouring cattle! Highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable stay at Hampden Park. Rob is very friendly and helpful and we bought a copy old of his wood creations for the garden. The site is flat and grassy and easily accessible. The communications with Julie were very responsive and we would definitely recommend this hipcamp if you are in the area. It’s perfectly positioned to visit so many places but without all the busyness of those coastal towns.

Rob and Julie’s directions were clear and helpful. It was easy to find a good site with a pleasant outlook, We camped overlooking the paddock and could watch the cows grazing. We needed a rest and that’s what we got staying here. Thanks so much Rob and Julie for providing such a beautiful, peaceful campsite. We’d definitely come back again.

Was a nice place to stop over and get away from the Hustle and bustle of the Great Ocean Road. Given all the fire warnings for the regions, the hosts not only sent messages but Julie came by to speak to us directly and introduce herself and check in.

This is beautiful property offering peace and tranquility right on the doorstep to all the sights on the Great Ocean Road. The owners are some of the loveliest people you’ll meet and the local koalas will keep you entertained for hours. A great camp and one we look forward to visiting again in the future!

Lovely quiet camp site Nice maintained gardens and areas with shade The common area was rustic and charming The views of the surrounding paddocks were lovely particularly at sunset and sunrise Loved the homemade beetroot relish and other condiments for sale I would come back for that alone!! Rob was very friendly and informative

The Hipcamp was easy to find and had a lot of options for setting up. Even with several other campers there for the night, we had lots of privacy and it was quiet. Waking up to the sunrise over the fields was a lovely start to our Great Ocean Rd drive. One note: there are very limited amenities around (food, gas, etc) so come prepared to be in for the night when you get there.

Stayed 5 nights including New Years Eve. Very quiet and enjoyable overall. Only 20 mins into the centre of Warrnambool which has everything you could possibly need.

Rob was a great host; He popped over to say g'day and really made us feel welcome. The campsite was well-kept, and the scenery was stunning. Only downside was that it could’ve been a bit closer to some walking tracks, especially for my dog, and it would’ve been handy if there were toilets nearby.
