We absolutely loved camping here. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing and there was lots of space to set up even with other groups. Shower and toilet facilities were decent and there were enough fire pits for everyone. Our hosts were wonderful and let us know about things we could do locally. We will definitely be back!

This was a delightful discovery for a campsite that's not too far from home. Sandra and Emma were thorough with their communication and gave clear directions as to how to find the property.
We camped over the Easter weekend, and while there were other groups onsite, it did not feel crowded. We were able to find a perfect location for our set up amidst a pocket of trees (which was ideally distanced apart for our hammock) and enjoyed the perfect mixture of shade and sun.
Firepits are provided, and wood is available for purchase from servos not too far from the location. A decent coffee isn't too far of a drive either, nor are supermarkets should you need supplies.
Summer Land camel farm is just up the road, as are bush walks, so there are a few options for things to do.
Location is only a few clicks down the road from Willowbank - so at times you can hear the noise of that precinct, and of a night, you do hear highway noise.
Amenities are simple, yet do the trick...nothing like a hot shower before settling in for the night around the campfire. There are two toilets and two showers that service the site, and they can be a little confronting at first, as the walls and doors of the cubicles are open-ended at the bottom (they start about 30cm from the ground) #farmlife. The doors of the cubicles could do with a way of locking from the inside (ie. a latch or slide bolt) just to ensure there are no embarrassing interactions between guests.

Absolutely loved it! The campsite is easy to find with great signage, well kept grounds and clean facilities
It’s such a lovely spot to unwind. Our host Sandi was lovely and easy to talk to.
The sites themselves are large and very easy to manoeuvre a van in and out.
It’s not too far from Brisbane that you can’t go straight after work on a Friday afternoon. I really enjoyed this campsite and i will definitely be back. A great place to camp with a few mates and just unwind.

This is a great place to camp even with 30 little boys running around. The area is big enough to have tour own space. It could benefit from some locks on the loo's. But the rustic charm and the wonderful hosts make it a great night. The fire pits are very cool.

The facilities were really well maintained and a nice luxury to have. Far enough away to be camping but close enough to get supplies or plan stuff. Don't believe the road/drag strip noise folks, it's ther if you listen for it but not an issue if not. Choose your spot carefully though as there are some nasty ants about.

Highly recommend this property if you are seeking a quiet, spacious, scenic and beautiful camping ground not far from Brisbane. We had a fantastic weekend stay here with our 18 month old daughter who loved exploring around the grounds and meeting some of the cattle. Sandra was lovely and welcoming and the property is very well maintained. Thank you very much and we'll be for sure!

Lovely spot. Nice setup, with good facilities. Views over open space just what you want when camping.
We had the Drag Racing on that weekend so we did get some extra ‘entertainment’ noise but it was interesting & didn’t bother us.
Bring the mozzie repellent though.

The farm was lovely and well maintained. A quiet, relaxed rural setting. It was peaceful. The amenities block was great, new and clean. I would come back here again.

Great camp ground. Flat, very clean amenities block and steel fire pits provided. Really good hot water in showers. Sandy welcomed us on arrival. Appreciated no rush either for arrival or departure. Plenty of space.

Great open camping area with plenty of space for the kids to play ball or ride their bikes along the gravel track. Recommend taking enough wood to have a morning fire as it was absolutely freezing (Aug)

Nice place to get away for a short trip but a bit expensive for a piece of grass. $116 for 2 people for 2 nights is a bit much when your neighbours are nearby.

Had a nice relaxing time, lovely big flat area to set up the caravan. Toilet and shower amenities were very clean. Nice and handy to visit some of the towns in the Scenic Rim area. Would definitely recommend a visit and we will stay again.

Such an easy place to arrive, pitch up tent as the ground is perfect - nice flat and easy to peg into the ground. The amenities are perfect too. Almost feels like home away from home but at a camping site :) definitely love to come back

We had an overnight stay here at the Stockyard Camp and can’t wait to go again. Sandra and Emma are very accommodating and the facilities are spotless. The location is extremely handy and the camp sites are tidy and spacious, a great spot for groups to gather and if you don’t have your own fire pit, they provide them as well. Perfect!

Lovely property. Very peaceful and quiet, we were the only campers there on night one and night two a group arrived (still peaceful and quiet). Amenities block super clean and hot showers with plenty of room to get changed in, too. We have young kids and they didn’t have much to do as the camp area is fenced in and so there wasn’t a lot of area of exploring. I would definitely recommend this camp site for adults or families with groups of kids so they can keep each other entertained. Great spot and highly recommend you give it a go. Don’t forget the camel farm 5 minutes away, great day trip to feed the camels (for only $2) and try a camel pie.

While there were quite a few other groups camping at the site, it was still big enough that we felt as though we were the only group there. Area was clean and tidy. Extra port a loos were really appreciated. View was so lovely. Located close to areas in the Scenic Rim - We explored Kalbar, Rosewood, Marburg and the Mt Walker area.

What a fantastic place. Very flat and well looked after. The owners really make sure your privacy is secured even on a long weekend like Easter by capping the numbers.

Stockyard Camping is a delightful spot within a reasonable drive from Brisbane. The access in is easy and directions provided are very accurate. The caping area is level and easy to manoeuvre in with wide open grass lands and there are plenty of trees to provide shade if required. The owners are mindful of space and don't over populate the area. Dogs are welcome. These were no noisy or disrespectful guests the night we were there and as we were last to leave we could see that the whole area had been left clean and tidy. Amenities block was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.
