Hidden Pocket on the Mary is a truly special campsite. With only a few sites, host Libby has set it up so each feels private and peaceful, surrounded by birdsong and nature. Just two hours from Brisbane, near Kenilworth and Conondale, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.
The birdlife is outstanding — you could spend hours watching the many species go about their day. If you’re lucky, you might spot a platypus, and at night the banks come alive with the sounds of frogs.
Libby’s love for the land shows in every detail. The camp is spotless and beautifully maintained, reflecting her care and respect for nature — something she hopes all guests share.
The Mary River is clear and inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip or a quiet paddle. Kayaks and inflatables are available to use for free, making it easy to explore and unwind.
We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!
