Overall, a beautiful location & creek to swim in, but a bit dear for what's on offer compared to other hipcamps we've stayed at. We expected the price would reflect a spacious site with some privacy. Unfortunately, because of the firepit boundary given to us, we were 2m away from our neighbours. We heard every word they said & constant bass music from another camp. It was as busy as a caravan park which is what we were trying to get away from. The uneven, narrow sites were a challenge, so our set up was sloped towards the creek & firepit because the flat section (which would be better to set up on), was used as a thoroughfare for vehicles.
It felt like the priority was cramming in as many higher paying sites as possible for profit, rather than giving visitor's a comfortable & peaceful creek-side camping experience. We still enjoyed our time, but it wasn't the off-grid experience we'd expected based on what's advertised & the reviews.
