Had a great two nights in Treetop Site 9 at Yarrabah High Country. Fabulous views and walks. Tracey a wonderful host in helping me back up the van 200m as I missed the turn! Clean and tidy bush dunny.

We set up tents at the City Lights site where we were greeted with the beautifully promised view. The camp ground was well maintained, with the luxurious Thunderbox nearby. As a bonus there is a nice little bush walk access point where we took our two fur babies each day.

We stayed at the sunset scene site. The views are beautiful, especially when the sun is going down. If towing a camper trailer or caravan, make sure you have a 4wd vehicle, otherwise the trek up the main hill will be challenging.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Tracey’s campsite. We chose Site 2, but our tent ended up being a bit too large for the flat area. After walking around the property, I’d recommend booking the City Lights or Sunset Scene sites—they looked better suited for larger setups and had great views. We had a lovely time spotting black cockatoos and listening to kookaburras, which added to the peaceful bush vibe. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy for stargazing during our stay. There was some noise from hooning and passing trains throughout the night, but that might have just been bad timing. Overall, it was a beautiful spot and a unique experience. We’d definitely consider coming back and trying a different site next time. Thank you very much for the hospitality Tracey!

Spent 2 nights here motorcycle camping and was a great location only 20mins from home with all the hills and twisty at the doorstep, easy access for car motorbikes vans 4x4+campers the night skys and sunsets are great and the firepit provide a perfect size, been so close to home makes it a great quick get away will be back soon

Sunset Scene Campsite
Sunset Scene lived up to the description with epic views and sunsets from the scarp. The site was nice and level for our camper and plenty of sun for our solar. Tracey is super responsive to messages and the directions were on point. The clean campground toilet was a lovely addition. We dropped into Mundijong for supplies and a great pub feed at the pub. We’ll be back.

Lovely spot. Camper there with my 5 year old for a night. Nice little bush track down to the old train line was a hit. Not too far from Perth, 5 minutes from Mundaring IGA and pub if you forget anything, incredible views, nicely spaced sites, will be back!

Given the location of this Hipcamp (Hilly Terrain) more work needs to be done to get the sites leveller and not just graded dirt for caravans & campers. Not an easy task given the location but I think essential to be able to get returning caravans/campers. The onsite toilet was definitely a tick but even that was sloping down the hill a bit too haha. Location close to metro area is a plus for the travel times and the view out to the city is real nice from there. Give me a level site and we'll be back ! Cheers Dave Pruden

Sunset Scene Campsite
The views were beautiful from sunset camp site. We shared 2 sites and with our friends and Tracey was very accomodating. Her communication was amazing and being able to get in at noon (when we requested) was a bonus especially with camper trailers having a longer set up :) - Thank you. We enjoyed rhe bush walk and we enjoyed Sunday roast lamb in the camp oven. Another great hicamp. Recommend chatting to Tracey about the most suitable site for your set up and intentions. The site is in a pretty location with great views. Not too crowded. Liked it that the entrance to the bush walk was well marked. The provision of a toilet is a bonus, meant we didn't have to unpack the porta loo. All in all would recommend.

TreeTop Site 2 was great and private, it had views over the sunset camps and was reasonably flat for a tent setup. It has great shade under the trees. Some of the other sites are probably better booked in pairs due to proximity to each other, but the City Lights site looked great too and was pretty private. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We loved our stay here. Added bonus it was only 30 mins away. Site and view is as described. City Lights site is great as you still feel secluded even when other sites are in use. Toilet was a saviour for the girls in the family! Friendly, welcoming hosts who dropped off firewood to us daily. Will be back.

We enjoyed our weekend camp at Yarrabah High Country particularly the lovely views, the quirky thunderbox and the quiet given the proximity to Perth. The host are very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Good communication and nice toilet facilities that were available. Had partial views from that location, would recommend the other site locations if you wanted slightly better views however the sunset was great regardless. Left the requested wood and good signage to the camp locations and to get to the location.

We had a great time here and would recommend it to others. There are incredible views of the city and surrounding area. The ground is quite firm and stoney, so be prepared for that when bringing a tent. The toilet was clean and well maintained. I'll happily stay here again.
