Relaxing place to stay

Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
We really enjoyed the relaxed, secluded powered site beneath a huge shady tree, and our dog was very reluctant to leave after a two night stay. The spacious sites are level and mostly covered in grass, we were lucky to have the whole area to ourselves. Despite some traffic noise, the wandering chickens created a countryside atmosphere.

We were greeted be Erica with a very lovely personality, Erica,'s husband was very helpful and his two dogs were very friendly. Plenty of shade and room in the comfort of the cottage surroundings. Will be back again and recommend this lovely place to anyone.

This was the perfect little pit stop for us. Kids enjoyed the sweet welcome of the chickens and a play with the hosts sweet dogs.

We loved camping at the Cottage Garden. It’s a great space and the perfect spot from which to explore Geraldton from. Erica and Alan made it all very easy, giving us great directions on how to find them and how to get into the property. The kids loved running around the garden and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would happily stay there again.

Really enjoyed our time in such a peaceful setting so close to town. Plenty of room and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The hosts were also very quick with communication and went out of there way to help with anything we asked. No hesitation to recommend this great place.

There was plenty of room for any size of rig. The host's were very welcoming. Easy access to power and water. Convenient location to access Geraldton for shopping and service.

The campground is easy to find.
It is very peaceful, the places are big.
The owners are very friendly: they even offered us to use the power on the site and gave us some eggs from their chicken.
The town centre is not far away and Highway 1 is in reach.

Was a nice location, large sites not to close. Ground gets 50mm of water pooling in heavy rain but drains quickly once rain stops.
Choose roam about and friendly, and will check out your van if allowed.
Easy access to power (15Amp) and water if needed.
Just be sure to swing wide as you go in or out of the gate, it is narrow so if towing, allow for it.

Helpful and friendly hosts. As the name suggests, the 2 camp sites are in a garden setting and you are not far from the centre of town. P/W available.

Erica and Alan are the nicest people you could ever expect to meet. Their hospitality was great and the camp area is really good with plenty of shade if required. Location is very handy to town which has most things travellers require
Geraldton has plenty to offer with great beaches and a visit to the museum is a must

We had a wonderful time at this place! Well worth the money….to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet (8 mins from the centre of Geraldton), on a large open space, listening to the birds and getting to know the friendly free range chooks. Plus, we were not packed in like sardines in a typical caravan park, and really loved our hosts Erica and Allan - super friendly people! We much preferred this option while staying in Geraldton.

A lovely , peaceful and comfy stay. Erica & Alan were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome whilst still giving us enough privacy. We loved the friendly chooks and their lovely dogs who came to say hello each day. Affordable price with inclusions of power and water and we felt nice and safe here tucked away in a little garden oasis just out of town. Definitely recommend! ☺️

Flat ground, shaded by big trees, Alan and Erica friendly and helpful. We loved the wandering chooks and meeting Erica's x2 doggies.

Good quiet place and very friendly hosts.
The entrance is small, we got in with the 21ft van but it was very tight, just need to be aware and have someone spotting you as you drive in.
Once you get in, there are plenty of space.
Very close location to town and quiet at night too.

The bougainvillea were a cheery entrance to our temporary home. Alan was ready to greet us with a smile and ran through the spot & connections. Power & water. 👏🏻 Met Erica later, both amiable hosts to chat with.
They’ve had no rain up here for ages so expect it to be dry but with a sand mat down it was easy and plenty of shade from trees. Anyway the 3 hens greeted us too and happily scratched around us & very well mannered fowl - loved them.
Lovely quiet peaceful spot and for us a convenient distance just out of the main town for us to leave the van safely whilst both doing a top up of supplies before heading North plus equally spending time sightseeing Geraldton.
