Yes they are here. It used to be called Sid's CampGround until Sid retired. We also have a friendly on site Camp Host to assist you, light the firepit and keep the place immaculate. Come to Northcliffe Bush Camp for the best unpowered sites there are ! You can get sites open to the sun for your solar panels, or sites in amongst the trees for heaps of privacy. Read all the Facebook reviews, it is a friendly, relaxed camping ground with top-notch facilities.  We have a camp kitchen and a communal BullBar which are great places to socialise with other travellers while warming up at the fire pit. We have clean tiled flushing toilets and lovely hot showers, not far from the sites.  The toilets have solar sensor lights but take your torch at night, just in case.  The camp host has a sign outside their caravan, stop and chat to the Host or Hostess who will help you out. You can arrive anytime you want, no stress. Unpowered sites are free range, so you can choose the unpowered site YOU want.  The road is a big loop, so you can drive all the way around the camp checking all the sites, then back to the entry, where you can do another loop to go to the site you chose. And remember there are miles of trails, 7 lakes, orchids, and recently we have even had Quokka sightings in the north east section of the forest.  Rubbish has to be taken with you and there is a large bin in town next to the general store, where there is also the best wifi in town. NOTE: These sites are unpowered. If you need power, please book via our other Hipcamp listing, Northcliffe Powered Sites or text me to see if we have sites available.  Surrounded by the the karri, marri and jarrah forests, we make a great basecamp for visitors wanting to explore this special area of Western Australia's southwest. Whether you're bushwalkers on the Bibbulmun Track, cyclists of the Munda Biddi track, or exploring the D'Entrecasteaux National Park and the wild beauty of Windy Harbour, you'll enjoy returning to camp here to reflect on your day, and prepare for the next adventure. The forests here are particularly impressive in spring with dramatic displays of wildflowers. The bike tracks, walking trails, 7 lakes and stream are just to the north of camp, they are signposted. Feel free to go explore!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Luckily our weather was great. Very peaceful., good flush loos, and hot showers provided for those who don’t have their own caravan facilities - which we had. Peter was very pleasant and welcoming. The camp kitchen is all there and working - seating could be cleaner and upgraded.

If you want to feel like you are on the set of ‘I’m a celebrity’ then this is the place for you! Lovely greeting from Peter and Bill and both friendly and helpful. This is a very basic campsite which isn’t really deluxe. Norhcliffe itself is a quiet town and we had a great evening in the bar there with other friends.

Awesome bush camping!!

We arrived late at night and were welcomed by the camp host, signed us in quickly and showed us where to camp. Facilities were well kept and very nice to feel bush camping with well done showers and toilets. Nice and quiet area, and it was great to see Peter out and about making sure everyone is following the rules to stay safe and enjoying them selves. We will be back for longer next time.

We really felt welcomed here. Bill was a great host to us and by the time we left, it was like farewelling a friend. The campsite is quirkily endearing. 😉 Sites are spacious and spread out so we didn't feel hemmed-in. On long weekends it is very busy but it is restfully quiet mid-week. We would come again.

We had a lovely time at the bush camp. Campsite was clean, hot showers and flushing toilets-what more could you want. We did the trail walks around the property and they were beautiful. Thank you so much Peter, Bill and Jill for our stay.

Just had a lovely weekend staying at Northcliffe Bush Camp. The camp hosts Bill and Jill and owner Peter were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on a powered site. These weren't the biggest sites but suited us fine and they were well spread out. There were some quirky toilets and showers but they were clean and showers were hot. If you have dogs and wondering where you can go, the visitor centre in Northcliffe were very helpful and gave us a local trail we could do from Hollow Butt picnic area and also advised the dogs were allowed on the beach at Windy Harbour.

Bushcamp Unpowered site
Overall we had a good time. However the unpowered sites are advertised as find you own spot in the bush. When we got there they gave us a choice of 2 spots and it was more like an overflow area next to the bush, rather misleading and was disappointing at the time. It was also way overpriced, and has been let go, it needs a bit of TLC around the grounds. The toilets and showers were fine and there was Beautiful bush on the property but the walks were not well marked. I think the place was set up well maybe 20 years ago but dosent seem to be maintained the way it should.

We stayed in the unpowered overflow area which was advertised as “park anywhere on the property “. In actual fact the allocated area is quite small with little shade and we were ushered to set up pretty much on top of another camp. My recommendation would be if possible book the original numbered sites which are set nicely among the trees. Toilet & Showers are good. Overall probably priced a bit high given you can get a powered site in a park for the same or less.

Site 5 - Northcliffe Powered Sites
We had an amazing stay at Northcliffe Deluxe Camp. The sites are fantastic, set on a large, beautiful property with stunning scenery all around. There’s a gorgeous walking trail to explore, and the amenities are excellent and well maintained. It’s peaceful, spacious, and truly relaxing. Bill and Jill are absolutely lovely hosts—welcoming, friendly, and passionate about what they’ve created. We can’t wait to return.

There’s nothing deluxe about this site. Bush camping at in its truest form; snake risk (“we’ve had a few king brown and dugites lately, but just kick ‘em out the way”) flagged by manager on our arrival (which isn’t ideal with dogs). Site and amenities are dated and having stayed in several other hip camps during this road trip, I can’t find a reason to ever go back. Site 10 is small / tight and dusty …probably best to visit winter / spring.

Such a beautiful place to stay with lovely warm inviting hosts there..They helped us when we were having car issues. Clean showers and toilets and an overall beautiful spot to camp. 10/10 would recommend this campsite

Northcliffe Bush camp was a great place to park up in our caravan over Christmas & NewYear period. Relaxing and plenty to do and see in the region. Our hosts and camp carers Bill & Jill are friendly and helpful people, and its no trouble if needing help to settle in. You need to go there!

Rustic campground set in the woods. Ample space between sites with quirky toilet and shower facilities. Everything was kept spotlessly clean by Bill and Jill the camphosts. Them and Peter were always extremely helpful with local sights to visit and explore. The daily sundowners in the Bull-bar is a must-attend to meet fellow campers and share stories and adventures!! We initially planned or 3 nights.. stayed 12.. highly recommended! As other campers commented, the birdlife is fantastic. We had daily visits from Fairy Wrens, the early morning wakeup calls by the kookaburras is the perfect way to start a day. Take a torch and do the hikes at night to spot quokkas and a variety of other animal life.

Site 1 - Northcliffe Powered Sites
Owners are lovely, & the property is spacious & very green. There are many gorgeous walks & pretty dams to see. I was on site 1, but it’s actually site 2 on the map (they swapped them & didn’t update the map). It was a lot more exposed than I expected being right next to the caretakers site (in the real site 1 on the map) where everyone stopped to check in, so not so peaceful at busy times (it should really just be the pull in spot for vehicles checking in). I’d book a different site if I returned. Lots of other quiet spots on the property to choose from. The other issue was that the water pipes are fully exposed to the sun, so scorching hot any time after 10am, making it impossible to use the site tap once the sun was fully up. I had to fill my RV tanks & use that cool water throughout the day, then refill at night/early morning instead of being connected to the tap. Showers had the same issue, unusable by midday, cold tap would scald you. Shower was solar heated too, so you can’t shower early morning to avoid the issue, as there’s no hot water then, so everyone needed the shower at the same time, which is a bummer in peak season. Apart from having to adapt to overcome the hot water issue, the place is great.

This is a fantastic camp ground. Unique and quirky. The toilets and bathroom facilities were immaculately clean with super hot water in both the bathroom and kitchen facilities. Our site had a grassed area and was beautifully shaded. Friendly, safe and quiet camp ground with wonderful walking trails. The camp host Bill was super helpful. Meet for "5's ies" at the Bull bar it's worth it. We will be back!!

This is a beautiful property & a good place to use as a base to explore the area. Peter, Bill & Jill were helpful & easy to chat to. We had site no. 3 which was perfect with lots of birds & quite private. I would definitely recommend a stay here, loved it.

It was our second time at Peter's land, and I am sure we will be coming back again and again. Very cosy spots, far enough from the main road to not hear the cars, which we enjoyed as we live in a city area. All vital amenities are available: kitchen, shower with hot water, and a friendly central firepit. Even the water in the showers has improved compared to three years ago, which shows that the hostel really cares about its guests. I would recommend this lovely place, and next time I will bring my dog!

The road from Northcliffe town to site is unpaved and rippled, but it's worth it. At arrival the reception is very friendly and laidback. We felt at home immediately. The spots are spacious sandy patches, but with power, an outdoor table and...our spot had trees for my hammock! The campsite has a community area which is actively used by most guests, giving a really relaxed homey atmosphere, getting to know other travellers "around the campfire" (fire ban, but nevertheless) The site offers a camp-kitchen, free to use with gas stoves and sinks. The toilet and showers look very improvised on the outside (e.g. colorbond walls with a ute canopy as roof), but inside they are all fully tiled, up to date and clean. We really enjoyed our short stay here.
