This property has been in the Shine family for many generations. The property has primarily been used for beef cattle farming, although in the early 2000's was shortly used to milk sheep, along with corn cropping. Currently the farm is home to roughly 100 breeders so you might be lucky enough to see a few cute little calves running around.Roeland's Lookout Retreat is nestled away in a tranquil and quiet location. The location is situated on a working beef cattle farm. Our "Lookout" site is located at the top of the property and gives a stunning view of the whole farm We are also just 20 minutes from Bunbury where you can find plenty of beautiful beaches and sites to explore. Campers are required to be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the evenings, pending there are no restrictions in place at the time of your stay. Whether you're looking for a great place to stop for the night if your on your way down south, or make a family weekend out of it, come see what's on offer. **Please note, there is no access to the river from this site, there is a small creek at the bottom of the hill but don’t mistake this for the river, this is only accessible with our “riverside” site.

The Lookout
Camping in a wet muddy enviroment
Had an interesting stay. It rained most of the time and camp site was very wet and muddy in certain spots but wasn’t too bad. I did get my car and van stuck but had plenty of time to work out a recovery, still the peace and quiet was wonderful.

Stunning view!
Absolutely stunning view! Amazing site with lots of things to explore for kids: hills, trees, creek, fields and cows. Peaceful and quiet spot with magnificent lookout. We definitely will be coming back.

The Lookout
The spot was gorgeous with no one else around. The cows were very timid not venturing too close to our camp. Can’t wait to go back.

The Lookout
Easy and beautiful spot.
The Lookout is a beautiful spot, easily accessed and has a stunning vista. Access was easy and quite private considering its exposure to the view with plenty of space to setout your site and perhaps even a play around with a footy. I highly recommend the spot for a weekend trip 🙂
