Our property is located well under an hour's drive from Perth, making it an ideal getaway for busy families and folk who are looking for an easy, relaxing weekend away. Please note that summer fire restrictions apply. No fires between 1 December and 31 March. Gas cookers attached to camper trailers - caravans ok. 1 April to 31 May one small campfire allowed after 6pm and must be extinguished by Midnight but not on High Fire Danger Days where all fires are banned at all times. Head out for a bush walk or check out Lake Leschenaultia, a 168 hectare bushland well-known for its canoeing, swimming, cycling and bar-b-que facilities. The National Parks and state forests in our region offer excellent walking trails, and lots of wildlife and waterfalls to take photos of. The state forests have good tracks for mountain biking. If you're a history buff, ask us about the old railway reserve. We are located close to public transport, 20 mins from the train station and the large township of Midland, with plenty of shopping and supplies. Just under an hour away are the old townships of York, Northam and Toodyay.
