This was a great campsite. We had a wonderful stay, make sure you either take your canoe or rent one.

Kirsty was an amazing, accomodating host. The site is spectacular and literally on the river, which is stunning in itself. Every time of the day was like a different artwork and the wild bird life is like nothing I’ve seen before. I’ve decided we need to purchase binoculars in preparation for our next trip!
The site is private and you’d never think you were so close to town. The cafe bar table aware was a godsend for cooking and food prep. And the best part of it all….our furry family members (two labs) were fully welcome. And they had the time of their lives.
We can wait to visit this place again; hopefully for an extra night or two.

Amazing. Fantastic huge level area on river front. Great bar, fire pit with seats and barstools provided. Black bream fishing, kayaking and supping and amazing abundant bird life.

Stayed for a second time and are still in love with this fabulous spot. Friendly host and brilliant birds to watch. Last time one Wedge-tailed eagle , this time four! We will be back.

Such an amazing place. Enjoyed every bit of it.
Camping in the bank of river, soo quite and the whole place is to yourself. Very large area with a good view, river in the backyard for fishing and kayaking- if you are lucky you can spot dolphins too.
A wide variety of bird species to watch. Kids will love this place. Place have a fire ring, desk, and plenty of chairs. Very kind of the host to leave a bunch of mozzie and bug repellents. Camped here for two days and been kayaking on the river - never met anyone else even on the river. Literally the whole area to yourself. I have already booked another weekend.Cant wait to be back!!

What an amazing place to stay, right on the river.The views were breath taking and i loved the peace and quiet.The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

So great knowing you have the place to yourself!! Lovely big fire pit to sit around.. And Kirsty and Brendan are awesome hosts .. We hired the kayak also for a paddle which was a lovely touch!
I love that there are table/bar tables and chairs too..
nice and high and stable - great for the WeberQ and a cheeky bevvy 😉 dogs has a blast too
And we had a pelican come and give us a visit which was just adorable !!
To be located an hour from Perth, (we were in peak hour) & be able to get away from it all .. but still be camping … it’s just perfect !!

We had a wonderful stay at this spot. The river setting is just amazing and it's easy to unwind and relax around the camp fire of a night.
Communication by Kirsty & Brendan was excellent and made it easy to find and get set up. We appreciate the firestarters and candles - thank you.
This is a great location with great views, thank you very much - we will be back.

We stayed here for the long WA weekend and fell in love with this beautiful camp spot. The wild life is breathtaking, beautiful birds everywhere, even had a wedge tail eagle keeping an eye on us. The fire pit was used every night and Kirsty’s eggs are delicious. Next time I’m getting two dozen!

We had a wonderful time here.
It was so peaceful, you would think you are miles away from anywhere but a quick trip into mandurah to get more supplies is possible.
Our dog had a ball, so much room for him to be of lead and not disturb anyone. We were worried about how he would go as this was only his 2nd trip with us. The first was a disaster. So knowing we were going to be the only ones there we knew he would really enjoy himself.
Fishing, birdlife all amazing.
Will definitely be going back.

We had a great overnight stay at Kirsty & Brendan's place by the river for our first Hipcamp. Lots of bird life, including whistling kites, ospreys, pelicans, wrens, sacred kingfisher, scarlet breasted robins - the list goes on. Kayaking on the river was lovely. There's an excellent firepit and lots of space to spread out. Don't miss the eggs - delicious. And it is less than an hour from Fremantle!

Such a beautiful spot right on the river. Kirsty and Brendan are fantastic host's and they certainly have a magical piece of paradise right in their back yard!
We were amazed by the number of bird species and beautiful eagles that fly around there. We were lucky to be able to take our small dog with us as well which was a huge bonus in my eyes. We loved the setup with the bar tables around and the huge fire pit which we were able to have a fire in and also cook a camp oven in there next to the fire. There was also a basket full of mozzie repellents and candles which was nice to have there just incase you forgot to pack it.. The view of the river and surrounds is breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see the dolphin's chasing some big fish!
We have already booked another stay here as we love this spot. Thanks for having us guys, we really enjoyed our stay 🙂
