Crossroads Dam Campsite 1
Plenty of space to set up, nice and quiet setting, very welcoming hosts and a short drive to the river. Andrea went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to make us included in farm activities. Would be awesome in fire season!

This property east of Bouup Brook is expansive quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the Dam sites and enjoyed the kelpie,the walks and the hospitality from Andrea and Dean. Highly recommend for a genuine offgrid camping experience.Peace and quiet with Boyup Brook nearby. Fantastic all round experience

Andrea & Dean were superb hosts! I mixed up my dates on the booking and arrived at the stay a day late but the couple were understanding and welcoming. Andrea brought us around the property and showed us her grounds. The campervan site is very well-kept and maintained. Would love to stay there again if we ever have the chance to go back to this part of Australia (:

Great place to stay. Our daughter loved the small playground, numerous toys, and getting lots of attention from the farm dogs and geese on the property.
Very short drive to a fantastic fresh water swimming spot and not far at all to Boyup Brook for a little outing.
We were well looked after by Andrea and Dean who are very friendly and sociable hosts.

Had a great time with Andrea, Dean and the 5 wonderful Kelpies. Andrea would have to be the most hospitable and knowledgable host of all the Hipcamp sites we have stayed at. Andrea had us over for drinks and nibbles and we spent a wonderful evening with her dad and Dean. Good clean rain water and the power was an added convenience. Would go back for sure. Thanks Andrea for a great time.

What an absolutely fabulous place to camp! You can literally hear the silence 💜
Andrea, Dean and the kelpies were spectacular hosts. The property is amazing with loads of camping places. We were invited to the main house for a drink and watched some particularly stupid Guinea fowl attempt to get over a fence. Wonderful Dorper sheep came and visited. Bonfire of EPIC proportions both nights we stayed. Freshly baked bread and a lamb taken home for the bbq. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back 😁

Andrea and Dean are fantastic hosts and very much ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
Our two dogs enjoyed the opportunity to roam on the property with Andrea and Deans dogs very friendly and playful.
Would recommend this stay 100%.

Andrea was a great host. Extra curriculum activities were a great surprise 😋 and made our stay so much better. Looking forward to see the farm in winter with more greenery, river flowing high and sitting around d the fire.

This has by far been our most favourite Hipcamp we've ever stayed at since joining Hipcamp a few years ago. Andrea & Dean made us feel so welcome, we also enjoyed their company & spending time with them while we were there. My daughter loved the playground area & playing with their Kelpies plus getting to herd some sheep with Andrea too. We will definitely be coming back to visit again.

We had the best time camping on Andrea's property. She was so welcoming and made sure we were always comfortable.
The kids loved the space to run, building stick forts and playing with the farm dogs.
It was exactly what we needed as a family to reconnect and get in touch with nature.
We will definitely be back!

What a great welcome we had from Andrea, the hostess with the mostest! The delivery of freshly baked bread (with butter) early evening was such a treat, and so kind.
And then when we took a wrong turn on leaving and got bogged to a point where the tracks were no good, Dean pulled the car and Van out separately with his ginormous tractor (while Andrea and I had coffee on the veranda). The highlight had to be the quad bike ride with Andrea around the estate with 6 kelpies! Brilliant!
What a fun place. We will never forget our time there. Saw a whole new WA world. Thanks Andrea and Dean!

People ask on why I use Hipcamp instead of caravan parks and both Andrea and Dean are one of the reasons why. We loved our stay here over the Easter break and to say it was exceptional is an understatement. Both Andrea and Dean treated us like VIP, we didn't make plans at all for our time and they took the time with us and other campers in taking us for a day out in the river, even took their boat out and let us knee board and go for a ride. They both were very patient and happy to take the time to teach use who never have done it before, brought a fruit platter and nibbles, good with our little ones, they offered many other activities, baked us fresh damper and just all round great genuine people. Happy to have have a chat about their property and general conversation on just about everything. We had our toddler loving the playground as well as our dog off leash having the time of his life making friends with the farm dogs and other campers dogs. Nice little stroll around the property with many off grid sites with sheep and guinea fowls roaming around as well.
We have been on many hipcamps but they were the best hosts we have ever experienced. You don't get many people like them anymore in today's society and to have been able to 'crossroads' with them and stay at their property will definitely leave some memories. We hope to make a return in the future and would recommend to anyone else looking at possibly staying here.

We were warmly greeted by Andrea on arrival and escorted to the large dam campsite area.
Extremely relaxing weekend, Dean loaned us a yabbie net and we collected about 60 over the weekend to eat and restock the larger dam.

Crossroads Shack
We have absolutely loved our short stay at Crossroads Shack! We stayed in the little shack which was very comfortable, clean and well equipped (lots of kitchen tools, some condiments and hundreds of dvds!).
We travelled with our dog who really much enjoyed the open space and sharing the ball with the other adorable dogs on the property.
And last but not least, Andrea has been simply fantastic, a warm and kind host that literally went above and beyond to make our little trip even more enjoyable! Thank you very much, we will be back!!

This was exactly what we needed for our babymoon! Off-grid, off screens, relaxed and cozy! A hobby farm run by a couple of genuinely great humans and their two best mates Fred and Kuli, we felt right at home on their property and in their company. The place is just amazing and caters for all styles of campers. We chose the cabin due to the heavily pregnant wife currently struggling to get in and out of a swag, and it was amazing. Huge indoor woodfire, all appliances, hot high-pressure shower, and an excellent porch with stove and fridge/freezer. The whole property is off-grid, though this certainly doesn't limit electricity or water use with impressive solar and water systems. Keep in mind it is rainwater so a little coloured, but delicious. If this worries you, bring some bottled or tap water. There are powered campsites with a playground for the kids, and if you want to go off-off-grid, the front paddock is 800ish m away where you can camp by the dam with room to spare. Andrea and Dean, the genuinely great humans running the place, were more than accommodating and let us wander the property, feed some lambs, provided a heap of wood, and borrow the kayaks to take down to the Blackwood River only 10-15min drive down the road. We will definitely be back, for the cabin or in a camper, to switch off and relax in good company by a fire. Thanks again! 5 stars, would recommend.

Dean and Andrea were absolutely amazing. Always had us in mind, were super accommodating to our needs, kept me and the kids entertained for hours and were happy to give us space as well. I have already personally messaged close friends telling them this is the place to be!

Crossroads Powered Campsite
Andrea and Dean go above and beyond. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. We were shown around the farm shown some great places around the area. Our dogs had the best time and miss their new 4 and 2 legged friends We felt like family and were very sorry to leave. We will definitely return and will recommend it to all our family and friends 10/10 isnt enough thankyou Crossroads

Very friendly country host. Willing to share their knowledge in off grid living as well as their knowledge of the area, We were made feel very welcome along with our fur baby. The shack was clean, had all the comforts of home and of good size. Great bush walk around the property, seeing wildlife, sheep and alpaca. We plan to go back with out lil granddaughter next time. Besides the shack there is also plenty of space for self contained off grid camping.

The hosts, Andrea and Dean couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome on their property.
We only a one night stopover whilst travelling between Denmark and Perth, and we were there for less than 24hrs but we managed to cram so much in.
It involved dogs, quads, a feed of yabbies, astro photography, drone photography, bush walks and a ride in a tractor bucket.
I would happily stay here again, possibly in winter to enjoy an open fire which was the only thing missing...

Crossroads Powered Campsite
Loved staying on Andrea and Dean's property. The host was very warm and welcoming. We were a big group with kids and pets. But both Andrea and Dean were really kind and helpful in making our stay memorable. They made time to show us around the area and we did water skiing, and bird watching. Would definitely recommend their place and will go back for sure during our future trips.
