Otter Pond Riverfront RV Site
We had a WONDERFUL time at the Otter Pond per usual. Trish and Kary are so accommodating! This was our third visit and this time we rented the RV spot for our trailer, plus the vintage trailer for some family to join us and everything was lovely! The river was low and perfect for tubing and the dogs had a blast running around on the property down by the river! We will continue to come back and look forward to our next trip to the Otter Pond!

Otter Pond Riverfront RV Site
This was one of the best places I have ever been to. We brought a Coleman 17B and rented the onsite camper. Everything was clean and functional. The property was secluded and private, including the river, we didn't see another person the whole time.
The river is shallow and slow moving, perfect for kids and dogs.
The hosts were great with communication, follow thier driving instructions because our gps would have steered us wrong.
I highly recommend this location.
We plan to come back next summer.
What a great stay, the property was amazing, horseshoes and a small bmx bike course for kids, a short walk to the river where you can sit and have a fire. We loved this property and will be returning !!! Great hosts and had treat bags for both of our dogs and us. Thank you for the amazing stay
Home away from home, pure relaxation! We really enjoyed playing games in the yard behind the trailer. Trish is the best!
We’ve been here several times and it is always fabulous. The trailer is very well equipped, the covered outside area by the trailer is perfect, and though it isn’t far from the owner’s home it feels very secluded. Big plus is a walk to the river where there is a fire pit for nighttime. We saw bats at sunset, many kinds of birds, and listened to bullfrogs in the nearby pond. One of he best places we have ever stayed.
Absolutely perfect spot. Our second time here. Trish is so generous and kind. Gorgeous views, full hookups and space for the dogs to run wild. The river is beautiful and so much fun! A++++
Once again another stellar trip to Trish’s property. The land is so well taken care of and inviting. It’s like having your own park to yourself for days. All the hookups, good wifi. Great attentive hosts that respect privacy and an absolute dog paradise.
We loved everything about our stay at Otter Pond! The landscape was everything we wanted out of our trip out West. The hosts were so gracious. We would love to stay again!

One of our favorite spots on hipcamp!
Every stay is nice and relaxing
What a pleasant surprise this place was. Trish was super helpful and friendly. She quickly answered any questions we had. They are close enough to help if needed but far enough away where you felt complete privacy. Full hookups was a big perk. The view was amazing, tons of birds singing, wildlife to explore, acres of land to roam, a pond for the doggies to enjoy, and river access. We plan our RV trips around our golden retrievers ability to enjoy them and this place was heaven to them. Many wonderful memories made. 10/10

This place was amazing. Everything we were hoping for. Trish and Kary were fantastic. Very easy communication prior to the stay. Kary met us upon arrival. They had a great gift bag for us and even cool stuff for our pups.
The spot itself is really something. We saw a number of deer along our way. Lots of different bird varieties and countless stars at night. The river was pretty ashy after some hesvy rains but was easily accessible and there are multiple spots with seating and fire pits around. The vintage trailer on site was really nice and I showered comfortably. I’m 6’5 and had no issue!
Although I’d like to keep this place as our little secret, it’s too special not to endorse to anyone on Hipcamp!

Absolutely perfect. The upper area for our trailer was level and easy to maneuver. The lower area was like off-leash heaven for our dogs. We didn't see another human the entire time. Extremely relaxing, and the hosts set up several areas to enjoy. 100% recommend this spot!

Very private spot and very quiet. Big area to maneuver our travel trailer. Hook ups were a plus, adapters were provided and easily accessible. We enjoyed the view of the river from the upper site and also close up down right next to it. Trish was very responsive. We will go again when we can. We plan to bring our daughters and let them stay in the on-site trailer. it would be a great place for a family gathering.
Our stay at Trish’ was so relaxing , beautiful, fun, and enjoyable! She was the ultimate host! We had complete privacy, and she welcomed us warmly when we asked if we could visit with her at her nearby home. She left eggs, butter, firestarters, and snacks for us in her beautiful, completely renovated trailer!
We camped in our own RV; she had full hook-ups for us!
We floated down the river, then hung out in the water for several hours. We stayed cool in the 90 degree heat (there was a heat wave in Washington while we visited).
This campsite was pristine, had a great view, and had wonderful outside seating, and a cool fire pit.
We’ll be back!

Best HipCamp Ever! We stayed for almost a week and it was wonderful. Our rig is a 26' travel trailer and we fit perfectly. We had friends join us for a couple days and stay in the vintage trailer on the property. It was an ideal situation. We work from the road and used Starlink while on the property and it worked awesome. No issues at all. Trish and Kary are the best hosts and don't miss a single detail. We can't wait to return in the future!

Otter Pond was a great midweek get-away for us and our dog in our trailer. The site is well maintained and spacious. It was so relaxing to sit on the chairs overlooking the range to the river while sipping a cold beverage. The host gave us a swag bag that included dog treats and human snacks. Nice touch. We envision future trips and rent the trailer for friends to enjoy the outdoors with us. Thank you hosts Trish and Kary!

This was such an amazing place to camp & play! We stayed 3 nights at Trish & Cary’s spot. Between the crystal clear river to play in, the acres to meander and explore, and three fire pits placed all around the property: this place is amazing! Full hookups for our toy hauler were the icing on the cake (& large gravel area is large enough for us to fully turn around our 40’ trailer) Thank you! We will be back for sure!
The trailer is completely adorable, preferably decorated and very well stocked. The outdoor covered area with comfortable furniture is a great spot to observe the world, even on a rainy day. Not sure what else I could say about the river other than it is so peaceful and healing And I think we lost track of the number of bald eagles we observed. Just another wonderful weekend

Another great stay! It was our 3rd time there and it was just as great as before! Trish and her husband are the best!
The Otter Pond is absolutely lovely! The vintage camper is adorable and comfortably cozy. The place is very loved and cared for. The sounds of the river is so soothing. 3 deer visited the property along with lots of birds and ducks. This property has several fire pit options, an RC track, horseshoes and a lot of relaxation. Although this place is far from home I hope to return someday and highly recommend it! Mt Helens is nearby and there is a lot to do in the area as well.

Wonderful space. It was our first time with full hook up and man did it feel like glamping. I rode my mx e bike on the sandy turns leading up to the river which was great. We even went in for a little dip in the river as well! Can’t wait to come back with another couple so they can rent the trailer on site and we can camp next to them. It’s a perfect setup for your friends who don’t have a trailer but you’ve been wanting to get them out camping!

Beautiful property with a quick walk to the river. Peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. A lot of good hiking trails in the area.
Host was very gracious and left a gift bag for me and my canine angels.
3 fire pits and my canine angels could be off leash by the river to enjoy themselves.

What a fantastic property! Private and relaxing. Plus plenty of space to wander around and enjoy the river.
Otter Pond was absolutely one of our top 3 places we've ever camped. We brought our camper and they had all the hook ups we needed. The RV site overlooked the valley below to the river. It was peaceful and there was so much room for our dog to run around. We paddled around the lake, played games in the meadow, and relaxed by the river. We enjoyed the rooster crowing and the farm fresh eggs. It was our anniversary and the hosts left us a bubbly. Top notch through and through.
