We had a really great stay. Kids loved seeing the chooks, cows, sheep, gold fish, peacock and really loved Jack the dog who was very friendly and would come play with the kids. Unfortunately missed milking the cows in the morning. The farm shop was great and we really enjoyed the black garlic paste.

No improvements needed for this amazing campsite!!! Just a hipcamp website problem - it doesn't even show "no potable water" unless you click on "Show More" under a certain section of info about each campsite...which we didn't. Just so city people know they need to bring water for washing dishes and hands and brushing teeth etc as well as for drinking.

Generous amount of space to set up and a nice distance from other campers. Toilet was clean. Had a fun time walking around meeting the animals and collecting eggs. Definitely stop by the farm shop whilst you’re there.

Not what I was expecting

This was a nice drive out to this property, the facilities were pleasant, Tracy was helpful, picked up my "frozen produce" however the whole property was very messy, the camp site was stones throw from main house with over 400 acres, this is not ideal for a quiet getaway, slightly overgrown with cow droppings all over, small fallen branches and not maintained. Dogs continually barking through out the night, got hardly no sleep, was glad to leave and put it behind me.

Site 1 - Animals everywhere & we're organic!

A peaceful and relaxing place to camp. Plenty of space to set up, for the kids to run around and also to ride their bikes. We probably didn't explore the farm as much as we could have, although the kids watched the cows being milked, saw the baby chicks and we visited the pigs. We enjoyed fresh farm eggs and some sausages from the farm shop. The farm dogs were friendly and came over to visit us often. The peacock walking through camp was a highlight. The composting toilet was an added bonus. Tracy is a very friendly host and made us feel most welcome.

Animals definetly everywhere. My kids had a great time exploring the farm. The bacon and eggs for sale were delicious. Grassy site. Site one is right next to the toilet but there was never any smell. Tracy was a great welcoming host who always said hello and made sure we had everthing we needed.

Great place to visit if never been on farm. Tracy helped us with a gas cooker and was very accommodating all throughout it. Easy to find & access with a great swath of flat land.

Tracy was lovely and helpful. There were plenty of options to place my gear in a well grassed paddock, some sites were even powered if needed. There was loads of shade and even a tiny house could be booked. When I had an issue with my car the owners jumped straight in and helped me out.

We only stayed one night here on our way back to tassie, but I would highly recommend to anyone!! Peaceful spot, lonely atmosphere, and the kids had an absolute blast on the farm feeding tour! Being the bug spray sling for an A1 experience!!

We loved it! The kids haven’t stoped talking about all the different animals they met on the farm. The owners were happy to let us see the farm/tag along. We set-up our caravan under a shady tree, had access to power and felt safe. We will definitely be back.

We just stayed for 4 nights and can’t wait to come back. Tracy and Tim were very welcoming and accomodating. The farm and the setting are beautiful, lots of animals to look at. The site is flat and clean,the toilet works very well. Eggs,meat and garlic paste from the farm shop are superb. The kids said it was the best the best holiday. Thank you Tracy and Tim

Tracy and Tim were so accomodating and run a really great property which allows you both time to just explore or get involved with the animals. The kids loved collecting the eggs from the chickens and loved Jack the dog! It’s a wonderfully getaway for a few nights. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great camping spot, the compost toilet was super clean, and the hosts were very friendly and informative. The egg collection "tour" was unique and the kids loved it (and the friendly chicken guarding dogs). The farm-grown bacon was fantastic too! Definitely would recommend .

Great Organic Farm experience

The map that identifies the three sites is a bit misleading and they are not scattered around the property as shown but are rather next to each other in a line. They are however very well maintained and have power and access to a really good quality toilet. This was not really what we were looking for and Tracy was incredibly accomodating and moved us to another location on her property and even got her son to clear the bush to make it camping friendly. The stay was just great, Tracy and Tim are incredibly welcoming and invite you into all aspects of their farm and share their stories and activities with you, leaving you incredibly well educated and humbled as to the continuous efforts that go into high quality farming. If you want to see what good farming looks like, I would highly recommends a stay over at Zanker’s Farm

Such a lovely, wholesome experience at Zanker's Farm. Tracy was so welcoming and helpful, and happy to have us experience her farm life as much or as little as we liked. I rode on the back or her quad to herd her cows in for milking, and went out to collect the eggs of an evening, and boy were those eggs something else! The site is close enough to the farm house if you need anything, yet tucked away just enough for privacy. The site is perfectly flat and nicely green, no levelling was required at all - we even stayed hitched for 24 hrs. We did stay during summer, right after the terrible floods, so mozzies and flies were a bit of an issue but Tracy even looked after us there, providing fly nets, a zapper and her homemade mozzie balm. We were in a 20foot caravan and had no issues accessing the site. Highly recommended. Thanks Tracy and family.

We loved this beautiful farm! Tracey was lovely and let us join in on milking/feeding the animals! The kids loved it, especially feeding the pigs! Beautiful quiet tucked away spot. I especially loved the fresh produce Tracey had for sale including milk and garlic, jam and garlic paste! Great spot and Tracey was extra accommodating!

We had an amazing time camping at the farm. The camping area is shaded and we made a fire before watching the stars. An early start to milk the cows and meet the animals was fantastic. We loved it as much as our 4yo who couldn't stop smiling. Highly recommended.

We had a amazing experience at Farmer Tracey's place, we (myself, partner and 2 young boys 5 & 2) were made to feel like a extended members of the family. Milking the cows, feeding the lambs, pigs and chickens and even hanging out with the dogs was so exciting for not only the boys but myself included. There was even ducks, geese, turkeys, bulls just to add to the farm experience. There organic products were amazing also highly recommend the eggs. We were camping and had a excellent spot to choose from for tents and campfire. I cant recommend this place enough A+

We stayed in our self-contained caravan at Zanker’s farm for 2 nights in January. It was such an incredible experience for all of us especially our children. Tracy, Tim and family showed warm hospitality and included us in activities like milking dairy cows, animal feedings and collecting eggs. They truely care and nurture all their animals and produce. It shows through their products (meat and garlic). We highly recommend those pork sausages and pair them with black garlic. There is also a mini-home cabin on site of self-contained stay is not your thing. There are flies and mosquitoes around this time of the year as that’s to be expected. We really enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to get to know the Zanker family/farm. 100% recommendation if you would like a farm stay getaway with high quality produce.

Excellent farm stay & experience!

We had a wonderful stay. Tracy and Tim are terrific hosts. Their organic produce is second to none. Our children loved collecting the eggs, watching milking and seeing all of the animals. There are some mosquitoes and flies around as you’d expect at this time of year but we used our gazebo screens for extra comfort. Sunsets were lovely. 40 minute drive to Thompson’s Beach at the Murray for a swim too which was great. This is a true farm experience which we enjoyed very much and will go again.
