We were recently camp here on the weekend and it was peaceful and quiet. We were the only one on camp and it was very quiet and pleasant. The Pub down the road was abit loud from where we camp, hopefully it’s not like that every weekend but it was an AFL GF night. Paul came in the next day to check on us and he offered us to stay one more night which was very nice but we have to get back for work. The area is clean, lots of firewood and toilet are super clean, outdoor shower. There’s a lot of camping spot that are surrounded by the bush and trees which make your camp private instead of being in open with other people. So in case of food and petrol issues , you don’t need to worry, the place is only 5 min drive away from the nearby pub and service station.

Nice place to camp! We were only there for one night on the way to Wilsons Prom but was a great spot to relax in between. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing some earplugs as the other campers were a bit loud but overall a really nice spot! Toilet was nice and clean and having water available was a great bonus.

Directions were clear to get there, it was easy to find a spot even though we arrived late. The toilet was so clean, best potable toilet I've ever been in. The owner came past and was very pleasant to us.

Lovely hosts Paul and Sally! Felt very welcome and comfortable. Our site was private and our girls enjoyed the beautiful horses on site.

Location is great, as it is close to woodside beach.
But feels crowded as there was little privacy!
1 Portable toilet were there which was clean!
There was no public shower, and the area is dry and sandy!

Only feedback would be toilet, I can see you have made an effort to set facilities up but with that many people camping when we were there is was terrible ( not your fault)

I don’t go there anymore. The owner partner is a good guy, kind and supportive if you need anything but the situation for camping there is awful. There is not any sign to find your place/ toilet so you easily get lost. There isn’t any drinkable water. The field is very draught and very opposed to the pictures. The signal is so weak there so you don’t have any access to internet. It is very far from the Melbourne and it doesn’t worth driving there.
Overall I don’t recommend to any friends to go there. When we all get there we become so disappointed which makes us think cancellation. If we didn’t drove that much we definitely cancel our reservation and forget about camping.
Sorry for negative feedback but because I think it’s my responsibility to be honest I try to cover all aspects of camping there.

I had such a wonderful time camping at Woodside Gardens. The sites were well set up with their own fire pits, separated from each other by trees, and Sally & Paul were so hospitable. Close to the Woodside Pub if you don’t want to cook and only 10 minutes from the beach! Sally also makes a range of health & wellness products onsite from all natural products which are definitely worth checking out! I bought a beautiful range of soaps, creams and hair products which I can’t wait to check out. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Thanks so much Sally & Paul.

Nice campground just off the South Gippsland Highway. Plenty of secluded sites to choose from and the shared toilet is a great addition.
There is some road noise from the nearby highway, but it didn't really bother us.

The location is idyllic – nestled in the countryside yet close enough to explore the stunning nearby attractions like Ninety Mile Beach.
The toilets were clean and well-kept, and the campsite layout offered plenty of space and privacy.
There are plenty of birds and wildlife around, and the horses are very friendly and enjoy a friendly pat.
One thing to consider is there is considerable road noise during busy periods.

Fantastic place to camp, very quiet , plenty of space , very friendly owners . Toilets cleaned daily , will be back for sure . Beautiful horses who like a carrot or two. Plenty of firewood. Highly recommend

Had a really lovely night camping here with my partner. The sites are all huge and easy to park on, pretty much all of them are enclosed in a tea tree clearing, so it all feels very private. There is a bit of furniture scattered about, and it all feels very cute and kooky. It's about a 15 minute drive to Woodside Beach, and a 15 minute drive to Yarram, which has two pubs, two supermarkets, and multiple take away options.

Nice quiet camp area . Only one other campsite was occupied so it felt very private. The pub is only 1.2 km walk so we had dinner there. This was our first hip camp experience and we loved it.

I loved tent camping at Woodside Gardens. A blissful and quiet space to relax and unwind. At one point there were about 4 different guests camping, however one could barely hear others as the site is quite spacious and trees and bushes in between keep others out of sight also. This is much nicer than an actual camp site. Every now and again a rabbit, a horse, or one of the cats was nearby which is an added bonus for animal lovers. Would definitely camp there again.

Sally's land offers a serene escape for future Hipcampers. The beautiful backdrop with horses and a friendly big pet cat adds charm to the experience. It's a calm and peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. Access is easy making it convenient for all guests. There’s plenty of space especially when it’s not crowded, allowing for a more enjoyable stay. The reasonable price makes it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot to others looking for a tranquil getaway.

Woodside Gardens offered a great, private space for tent camping with handy, movable fire pits around to bring to your perfect spot. There are several spots with lots of low brush to keep them a bit private from each other. We really appreciated the picnic table and toilet (with soap!) that we were able to camp near. The signs and instructions made it very easy to find our way. The horses in the neighboring paddock are also delightful and the beach is so close. Nice views for sunrise and sunset over the trees and sheep paddock. (I expect the stargazing would also be good, but we had some cloudy nights.) Very relaxing and easy camping experience with very friendly hosts. Sally & Paul also explained to us how to find a local "secret" cave that was a fun adventure! Would definitely go back and hope to bring friends along next time.

Lovely, private sites separated by teatree. Paul was attentive and very friendly. Close to the Woodside Beach Hotel for a meal and a short trip to Woodside Beach for a swim. A great place to spend Easter.

We had an amazing time at sally and Paul’s property! Perfect setup ! Plenty of space ! Plenty of privacy ! Good location close to Yarram and to the Woodside beach . We met Paul who went above and beyond for us! Toilet well set up with lighting . Horses on fence line ! Very relaxing ! Highly recommend !!!

We had a wonderful stay at Woodside! Lots of little pockets to set up camp with plenty of shade. Toilet was lovely and clean, and well-lit. Great location 10mins from the beach, servo and pub just down on the corner as well. Would definitely recommend :)

What a great spot! Lots of flat space, but also privacy from other campers. Toilet was central and kept clean and stocked. Horses were lovely to see and give pats to. Fire ban while we were there but lots of sticks and kindling but would byo wood.
We were able to walk to the pub (about a 10 min walk), good food and busy; and woodside beach was a 10 min drive.
We will definitely book and stay again. Thanks!

Really lovely camping spot, lots of areas to choose from and we were really happy with our camp spot. Beautiful horses and birds and a short drive to the beach. Excellent communication from the hosts and the toilet was always very clean and fresh!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you! The hosts were very helpful, responsive and went out of their way to help us. The camp site had no marked out spaces for camping. In theory this is a lovely idea, but in reality as no-one quite knew where to go one camping group had literally roped off an area they wanted to keep to themselves and several of the rest of us ended up camping fairly close together. It also meant that fires had been started in (provided and moveable) fire pits, and on the ground, in many sections, which limited spots for pitching a tent further. I'd recommend allocating proper camping areas so the sites can be more easily looked after. Toilet was pretty good, with water, soap and paper towels and a solar light for night time - much appreciated. Local pub was terrific - just over 1km to walk there and back for dinner (recommend booking as it was very busy), with good food and strong coffee, just the way we like it. Day 2 we took take away coffee from the pub to Woodside beach as there wasn't another coffee place there that we could find. Unfortunately the showers at the beach have been removed but the toilets were decent!
