Had a fabulous 5 days at Site 4. While no sea views, it is a stroll to the private water area. 20 mins to Bairnsdale or Paynesville. Nice and grassy and some internet reception.

There is plenty of space between each camp site which is super important to us. Right next to the water which was a bonus. Plenty of wire wood and fire pit available. Lovely hosts who came to check in when we got there and asked if there was anything we needed :) we would camp there again!

Idyllic waterfront spot

A beautiful spot with gorgeous waterfront views. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had a most enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend bringing insect repellent though as mosquitoes can be a bit annoying at dusk. Hopefully visit again soon

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing

Wattle Farm was a beautiful spot to park our full-size 6m caravan, and sit and relax as we looked out over the lake. We had a fantastic fire pit supplied, and plenty of wood to keep it going in the cool of the evening. Our dog loved being taken for walks all around this large property, and there was plenty of nearby attractions and things to do. On our first morning while having brekky outside, we looked across to the scrub, and noticed we were being watched by a large 'Roo! The host was a great communicator and gave excellent instructions as to exactly where their gate is (don't believe Google!). The entrance itself is very well signed, so it is very hard to miss it. As we have a larger onroad caravan, we are always a bit wary of access to the properties we stay at, but the driveway was easily navigated, and the instructions to the track that leads to the sites was spot on. The track might be a little tricky for less experienced vanners, but is certainly navigable and Ok for onroad vans like mine (6m long and 3m high) Just need to take it slow and leave plenty of room for weaving through some trees! The host (Carol) greeted us and gave us information about "what's on" in the area, and was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back again and will stay longer! :)

The spot was fantastic, right on the water . We were the only ones there as we went in winter . We loved the fire troughs and all the fire wood supplied ! Would love come back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake more.

A great spot, right on the water, with amazing views of the sunrise. The site is protected from the breeze, clean and great facilities (fire pit with wood supplied, chairs and table). The hosts were super friendly, but also respected our space and privacy.

Fantastic, relaxing camp

The site was fantastic and very peaceful. Was a great spot to spend the weekend with our dogs. A very short walk to the water, sheltered spot from the wind, and plenty of wood for a fire (firepit provided). Graeme and Carol are lovely, friendly hosts and came by to see everything was ok. We will definitely be back.

Private Paradise

This is just paradise with no other humans in sight! We camped right at the edge of the water and watching the birds, including an eagle and hawk was amazing. The owners are super supportive and there to answer any questions. Loads of really good fire wood too keep warm. Just a bit wet after rain and in winter. We will definitely be back once the weather warms up, as the lake looks so inviting for swimming. Thanks for a great stay 🥰

Unfortunately, we didn’t end up staying. The ground was soaked, muddy, and full of puddles — definitely not what we expected. It wasn’t clean or comfortable to set up, and we didn’t feel it was suitable for camping. We paid in full but had to leave. Bit of a letdown, especially with no flexibility offered.

Had a great time at this campsite! The location is very convenient and easy to access, with a beautiful view that makes the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Although we weren’t lucky with fishing this time, the overall experience was still great. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after a peaceful spot with scenic surroundings.

Nice grassy sites with good access to the lake, the hosts are very hospitable, the only negative is that it could get boggy during the wetter months.

Lovely site, so close to the lake with beautiful views. Good distance from other sites. We saw kangaroos on the driveway. Well signposted and good directions of where to go.

Perfect Lakeside paradise

We Loved our overnight stay. We stayed at Site 2 but all are absolutely lakeside and very private from each other. As we were only in transit it was perfect to be able to keep the camper connected and pull up metres from the lakes edge. The site had chairs, table, bench seat and a fire pit (wood supplied). Couldn’t have asked for any more and the tranquil lake views were awesome. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Thanks Graeme and Carol - you’ve created a lovely hipcamp

Our group stopped here for an overnight on our travels through the area. What a perfect spot! Nice and flat and open, easy to access. Hosts were fantastic. Easy instructions to find property and check in. Came to introduce themselves and make sure we were settled. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Camp site was great, with easy access to the water for kayaks/paddle boards etc. Camp site felt private, secluded and well maintained. Can easily provide for a large group. Accommodating and pleasant hosts, with excellent directions and communication prior and during our stay. Definitely recommend for a stay.
