Everything went well ! Richie was very helpful and provided a lot of information and was so kind with the kids. The proximity with the lovely caws was one of their highlight of our 3 days trip on Philip Island. I was more impressed by having bandicoots, cape barren geese and wallabies all around our camp but I guess that's just a matter perspectives I

The Winery Paddock
We had a wonderful time at the Winery Paddock. You could see the water from the paddock and we had some very large hay bails in the middle to act as a wind break if needed. The field is exposed so bring your own shade if it’s going to be hot. We also had shared use of a bin and hose with clean water. Access to the winery was easy and made for a great activity with the kids. Richie was super helpful and great to deal with- he even took the kids for a tractor ride. Would recommend to large family groups or people just wanting to see the island without hoards of other campers.

Large secluded plots per camper/group camping. Each one fenced off with trees. Enjoyed great sunset/sunrises, wide open skys and the distant sound of surf during the night. Ritchie is a great host, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the back paddocks for the self sufficient camping experience on Phillip Island

The Middle Paddock
Great spot to discover Phillip Island. Large grass space with nothing but nature around, spotted plenty of kangaroos and bunnies. Richie and Sharon are great hosts, would definitely recommend and repeat a stay with them.

The Middle Paddock
We had a wonderful stay, very peaceful and private lots of wildlife. Fantastic location, lots of places to explore and some great walks. We were blessed with good weather and fortunate to see amazing night sky. Winery next door, which was lovely we enjoyed a late lunch and wine tasting. I would definately stay here again.

Had a great stay here! The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and we had the whole place to ourselves. There was heaps of space, a nice distant view of the ocean, and it was super close to the Penguin Parade. Peaceful, private, and a great spot to unwind. Would definitely come back.

Great open space over looking the water. Both Sharon and Richie made use feel very welcome at there farm. I would recommend this location for anyone that wants a bit of room and a nice location. James

The Winery Paddock
We had a terrific 3 days staying on the farm. It is in a great location to experience all Phillip Island has to offer. Richie and Sharon are exceptional hosts, responding very promptly and generously to any requests. Our granddaughters loved playing on the hay bales and having a ride in the tractor to feed the cattle and move hay. Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness.

Location is excellent to see tourist attractions around the Island. Great space for camping with an amazing view. Quiet and peaceful. We hope to come back one day. Thank you Sharon and Richie for being such great hosts.

Epic hidden gem on Phillip Island!

Sharon & Ritchie went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! We booked for 1 night in March to celebrate my partners 25th birthday, and Ritchie kindly welcomed all 35 of us to camp up at his top paddock. Firstly, the views of the ocean are breathtaking! On a clearer night, the sunset would have been just gorgeous. There’s so much space and the paddock was so clean and tidy. Ritchie even gave us his Weber BBQ to cook on for the night, and brought up his rubbish and recycle bins so we didn’t have to lug all our rubbish home to Melbourne with us. Which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a private, secluded camp away from the busy caravan parks 🙌🏼

The space and privacy having a paddock to ourselves is awesome. We had views of the ocean on the Middle Paddock. The dogs had a great time. The geese, birdlife, and stars at night all added to our stay. I'd stay again. Ventnor Beach was perfect to take the dogs too as well.

Huge paddock all to ourselves with a lovely view of the coast between the trees. A peaceful spot far from the road noise and the night sky was incredible. It was super convenient for the Penguin Parade and close to Cowes. Richie gave us a warm welcome and some great recommendations for our trip. Being able to fill our water tank was a real bonus. Thanks Richie!

The Holding Paddock
We loved our stay at Sharon and Ritchie’s paddock, if you are self-contained it is a perfect place to stay when visiting Philip Island. We had peace and tranquility in our own paddock. Ritchie is so welcoming and giving of his time, taking our boys upon arrival in his trailer and arranged a tractor ride for them during our stay… despite working out in the farm all day, he still made time for us. Thank you so much, we look forward to visiting again!

We booked last minute and absolutely loved our stay! Had the most beautiful views and got to see some awesome wild life as we camped. Good position to explore the island. Sharon and Richie were absolutely lovely and very helpful

Awesome, bucolic scene, hosted by Richie and Sharron; so accomodating and kind... A ripping storm blew over us in the middle of the night and shook the rig, lightening strikes, thunder claps, torrential rain and roaring wind... It was nature's full majesty on display... The next morning first thing Richie was checking in on us to make sure we were alright... Folks were so kind! It's an excellent location, directly next to the Winery (where we went for lunch) and. ~10 min drive from The Nobbies... Stunning place.

This farm stay was everything we were looking for and were so grateful for the experience. Stunning location with a huge open space we had to ourselves. The hosts, Richie and Sharon, were so lovely and kind and even gave the kiddos a ride in their wagon pulled by the quad bike. Will definitely stay again next time we come to Phillip Island!

The Top Paddock
Sharon and Richie were welcoming from the time we arrived. Showing us around the property and explaining the area and hidden gems like walkways for the penguins. Richie even gave our boys a tractor ride when he has spare time. The property was amazing. We had the whole property to ourselves for the weekend so was very peaceful, the stars were amazing and even able to spot planets. The sunsets each night were the perfect way to end each day! Highly recommend the top paddock for views of the ocean and stars.
