My partner and I stayed at Site #1, the whole camp site is nice, secluded and quiet. We had the whole campsite to ourselves. Very quick confirmation from the host too! Just be mindful of cow poo as they are everywhere.

This is a lovely, peaceful and private spot. We camped at Site 1. It was easy to find, flat and had lots of firewood. It is a beautiful place...would recommend.

We had a poor host experience at this place. Inadequate directions given, unreachable host when needed, poor signage within the site, among a couple of other things.
The site itself did have a lovely sunset and is in a good location. However, the cow patties were all in annoying spots. We couldn’t escape them. I won’t be returning.

Stay away from here DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! Overall this was a terrible experience from the start lack of signs but we found our way to the field full of cows after reading previous reviews we booked this because we didn't want to be in with animals! But that was not the case your put in a field full of cows with cow poo everywhere!!! As soon as we got out the car the cows came over and surrounded us would of been impossible to set up a tent if you had a tent ! Grass was not cut and 1foot high so be careful of snakes and hidden cow poo!!!
We went off to beechworth for some dinner afer the long drive ,when we returned we found that the owner had actually changed his mind and decided to make more camps around us even tho is says 3 camp areas expect alot more than 3 camp area they are fairly close anyway compared to most places we have stayed but adding more campers makes it even closer ends up like the beach in summer ! We tried contacting the owner but no response so we packed up and left so we didn't actually spend 1 night there IT WAS THAT BAD!! and could see it only getting worse from there!

This hipcamp was lovely, quiet and close to Beechworth. The site we had was large and flat plus all the sites are well apart from each other. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Thank you Warren and family for allowing us to enjoy the views of the amazing Sunsets from your beautiful farm and the quiet location. The farm was easy to find and our site was perfect. We enjoyed meeting the your 🐄, my husband and I named two of them Daisy and Maisy May (don't ask which one they both are as they all look the same).
I would recommend your place to others and will definitely be using it again in our travels.

Sunset Ranch is in an ideal location, around 15 mins drive from either Beechworth or Yackandanda. Our camp site (site 1) was perfect for our camper trailer and very easy to access. We originally booked for two nights and then added another. Total peace and quiet with beautiful sunsets. We would highly recommend staying here.

Quick response when booking. Great that it was well signed and easy to find. We stayed on site 1. All sites were great. The swings on the trees for the kids were great. Very private camp. So easy to get to Beechworth only 15 minutes. Really enjoyed and would come back again..

Sun-drenched grass and what feels like a permanent golden hour, this campsite definitely gives you the feel of country-life simplicity. Delicately accompanied by a rope swing, picnic bench and fire pits, enjoy your morning coffee gazing over the ducks gliding across the dam. Thank you!

Sunset Ranch is a beautiful spot to spend a night or three. Although we didn’t have much contact with Warwick he was a very generous host, bring down drinking water to our site while we were in Beechworth, which is conveniently 15 mins away!

This was literally the only place left to book for the weekend we wanted to get away, so we didn't want for much, but I have to say this place was a magical surprise!
The camping spots were positioned between two rows of trees, framing the most beautiful star lit sky.
It's quiet, peaceful, surrounded by pastures, trees and farm animals (well away from camp!).
There were thoughtful touches with picnic tables, a swing, and some firewood left for us to keep warm at night.
Thanks for having us Warrick, and your Mum for coming to check on us when we arrived! Good simple hospitality and camping!

A great location, very easy access to Beechworth, Yackandandah and other places of interest. Very quiet location and friendly host.
Camp site was relatively flat and heaps of room to set up with good 2WD access.
Highly recommended.
