Welcome to South Serenity Arabians, a peaceful retreat set on a 100-acre Arabian horse farm just an hour from Melbourne. Choose from two beautiful accommodations: the intimate Heartland Suite, perfect for couples, and the spacious Waterfront House, ideal for groups or family gatherings of up to 10. Both offer a tranquil escape surrounded by lush gardens, horse paddocks, and serene views over our 2-acre, fully stocked dam. In the Heartland Suite, unwind in a cozy, tastefully decorated setting with a luxurious four-poster bed, private fireplace, and all the provisions for a self-catered hot breakfast. The suite is pet-friendly and allows guests to bring their own horses or dogs, offering complete privacy on the far side of the homestead. The Waterfront House overlooks the dam, with room for larger groups to enjoy modern comforts amidst scenic views of rolling hills and horse paddocks. Guests can connect with nature, stroll through the paddocks, and meet our champion Arabian horses up close. Kilmore is just 5 minutes away for dining and shopping, while local attractions like Macedon Ranges, Yarra Valley, and horse trails are within easy reach. Early check-in, late check-out, and an electric car charging station are available for added convenience. The apartment is fully private, pet-friendly, and separate from the main homestead. You’re welcome to bring your own horse, as rental stables are available. Enjoy nearby riding ranches, fishing in the fully stocked dam, bush walks, or simply the peaceful countryside setting. Immerse yourself in our Arabian horse stud, home to many Champion and Supreme-winning horses. You might even witness the birth of a foal if you’re here during a special occasion. Only an hour from Melbourne CBD and 40 minutes from Melbourne Airport, this tranquil country retreat offers the best of quiet rural life while being just 2 km from Kilmore’s main township. Situated in central north Victoria, we’re within easy reach of many day-trip destinations, including Bendigo, Macedon Ranges, Yarra Valley, and Shepparton. Explore the farm, meet the horses, fish at the dam, or take a peaceful picnic on the scenic 200-acre property. For those interested in a horseback riding experience, a riding trail and school are just 15 minutes away. We recommend advance bookings for this popular activity. Enjoy a choice of breakfast provisions, either farm-fresh eggs, bacon, and fresh bread or a wine and cheese platter. Fresh fruit, milk, coffee, and tea are included with both options. We are pet-friendly, so feel free to bring along your furry companions! We’re only 5 minutes from Kilmore township, where you’ll find supermarkets, eateries, parks, and other public amenities. For a special experience, you can also book a visit to a nearby horse trail and riding school, located just 15 minutes from our farm.
