Beautiful and serene campsite. Apart from some noise from a house party nearby, and lack of a toilet, it was great… however a little pricy for what it was ($80 for one night!). Still a great experience and would recommend.

Don't really want to leave a review because I'd like this site to remain a secret haha! Absolutely love this campsite, and we will definitely be back again. There is a slope which can be a bit frustrating, but some ribbed rubber matting from Kmart helps everything stays in place. We've never been to a site with no amenities, but had no problems setting our new "bathroom" up. The hose (Paddock site) has really good water pressure. You can see the Airbnb house in the distance, but it wasn't an issue for us, though sound can carry. As for the other campers, you can only see them when you drive past towards the gate. If you like a place with no other campers and are happy to bring your own portable toilet, I'd totally recommend Lang and Courtney's property. The campfire area is near the water, so just be on the look out for snakes in summer time. We had our 'bathroom' near there but didn't have any problems, and also didn't wander into the bushy area next to the river.

We loved camping at Lang and Courtney's property. The site is private and right on the banks of the river, where we could actually see fish jumping out! Having the fire pit was excellent as was the tap for running water. The block slopes slightly but this was not an issue at all for us. We would love to return to this beautiful part of Victoria.

Nice and close to lakes entrance & lake Tyers. Definitely not a moving river making it pretty dirty and lots of mozzies. Heads up, Water tap is at least 50m from creeks edge and right at entry gate so can’t set up and utilise water outlet.

Horrible experience, mosquitoes were sucking the life out of us. The land is not flat, finding a place to set the tents took time.

Place was as described. Sloped with a creek beside it. Beware of the amount of mozzies and flies due to the stagnant brown creek. Can't complain of it as my expectations were low but bring tons of bug repellent and don't expect to swim or fish in the creek (full of branches and bugs).

We enjoyed our stay. Nice green lawns and plenty of shade but if you need to use your solar panels, the only flat enough ground is under trees which will be in the shade for 80% of the day. The creek is not much of an attraction. It didn’t have any noticeable flow and was very dark brown water. If these point aren’t a concern then it’s a nice location and too far from the beach and the town centre.

The sites are huge with plenty of room to move, however they are just a tad sloped.
The provision of fire pit and water is a big plus.

We only stayed the night so was fine as an overnight but this site (Paddock 1) would not suit for any longer. You can see the house from the site and hear the occupants. It’s not at all private as passing cars have a view into the site too. The other issue is having to pass the second site on the property each time you leave and return. For this trip this site was occupied so felt we were interrupting them too. Everything else is as described, land has a run to the water so difficult to get a flat spot. The water was brown and stagnant but we didn’t see many mozzies. Fine for a night but not private or secluded.

Nice camp-site. Private and distance between the 2 sites was nice.
Site is on a partial slope which has been mentioned on their description and understand why they haven't made an area that is flat and more beneficial for caravans or campers so come prepared with levellers.
If wanting to use water tap on-site id recommend to purchase a very very long hose prior if you want hook straight up to it as depending on where you want to set up was a fair way away from tap.
One disappointment that we felt, was the river
Due to it not being a running river that constantly flows, it seems to be quite stagnant, and while we where there it was very brown and not that appealing and wouldn't even let our dogs swim in it as thats one of the reasons we like to book sites that have access to swimming for ourselves and dogs. But would recommend not swiming in the river at all, on saying that though this is no fault of the owner as they cant change nature. We did have some issues with mozzies, but we had repellents and orange lighting for night time that did help.
But other that that it was nice and was close to Lake Entrance with only a 15 min drive if you wanted to explore.

Great spot tucked away. Nice and private. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the area. Dogs loved the nice mowed paddock to have a run.

Great spot, secluded and grassy. The water on tap was extremely handy and the proximity to town was great. The ground is on a slope (as stated in the summary) but some levelling blocks and wasn’t an issue.

Great camping location right next to the creek, I had 2 fire pits plus fresh water connection via a tap and hose on site, it’s on a bit of a slope but if you setup close to the fence you will be ok, no issues with fallen trees during the massive storm we had on Tuesday, I’d definitely camp here again, also just a 15min drive into town

The bridge site was under water and the hole site was on to much of a slope had 4 attempts to try to get it level and grass had not been cut it was to so long was worried about snakes l think that the sites should be cut out level to make it easy to level it would not recommend

It was excellent and exactly like Lang and Courtney described the site, they had recently mowed the area which was fantastic and I guess that is something they are very mindful of, they also had some firewood there for us and access to drinking water easy access to the site and also nice and close to take out granddaughter to the water inflatable in Lakes entrance which was fantastic we really enjoy our stay thanks very much appreciate

We really enjoyed camping here. The two sites are very lush, grassy and right next to the water. Nighttime was fantastic with so much noise coming from the water birds, frogs and other animals. It’s very quiet during the day and hardly any cars passed by while we were there.

Was a spacious spout with easy access. Nice grassy, flat and shaded near the river front. Kayak with vests provided for a nice float out in the water. Lots of beautiful swans and lizards about during our visit. Water available via tap near gate was great. Would highly recommend a stay here, would not hesitate to book again. Thanks for having us.

It’s definitely a nice place but we were unfortunate to have the hosts rent out their house (few hundred metres from camp site) to really noisy guests with a sound system drowning out the valley. Hosts were very responsive and got on to the issue quickly but the guests remained noisy for a while longer (wee ours of the morning). The paddock site is also quite unlevel so hard to get a flat bit of ground unless you camp directly under the trees adjacent to the river (risk of falling limbs). The other camp site near the entry looks much better. I will come back, it’s a really nice place, we just got unlucky with the neighbours and the choice of camp sites.
