Was a neat spot, tucked behind town centre.
10-15 minute walk with ease. Enclosed area so kid and dog friendly.

We loved our stay here. Plenty of water and power, fenced yard so our puppies could run and play and close to town. The fire pit was fantastic as well. Thanks Steve

We loved this little spot. Great location, walking tracks all round, private block, fully fenced so the dogs could run off lead. Town water and power supplied. Easy access, peaceful. Will come again thank you

Fantastic caravan site, power and water was provided. Very secluded and the only caravan on the site. The site is very close to town and facilities. The owner Steve, is very good at responding to any questions. There is a dump point is close by, at the BP station. This site is better than any caravan park and would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Great little stop over camp. Fully fenced in yard so was great for the dogs to just run around. very close to town (maybe 2 streets away) if looking for a base in Echuca this is an easy option

Great spot. Steve was great with advice and directions. He only lets the plot to one group at a time so hubby and I had it all to ourselves. The rain did make the grass muddy but you can park on the gravel drive, right next to power and water which was great. Small amount of road noise early in morning only. There is a dirt road that cuts through the bush - and walking to Shamrock pub this way was only 15mins( torch nec on way back) . Perfect spot for the town.

Perfect stop over, was great having power and access to taps.
Great big firepit and could see some wood already chopped up to use.
If you’re travelling with pets there is a gate and fencing. Our dog loved patrolling the border and having freedom to run around.

I usually don’t go in to too much detail on hipcamp because as a rule they’re pretty good. So in the interests of fairness and transparency to the hipcamp community out there:
This COULD be a really good hipcamp, but there needs to be some clarity and honesty about what it is and where it is located. It is NOT 1 Acre of land it is a half acre at best and narrow and tight.. The truck/car noise is loud and constant, particularly the air brakes on B doubles all through the night. It is tight to maneuver a 9M Van and a 5 Metre 4WD to achieve anything close to a decent campsite because it is so small.
We didn’t appreciate being unable to use most of the block because it had been so heavily watered. The only way you’ll get a 9M Van anywhere near the green grass would be by backing in to the site as there isn't a turning circle owing to the placement of power outlets and trees.
Even if we had managed it, the the dual axles would have torn the site apart - I wouldn’t appreciate someone doing that to me, hence I wont do it to others out of respect. So essentially what we were left with was the dirt.
The Power and water were the only real reward, although proximity by car to Echuca was also well regarded - but it is not 400 metres away. Sorry but Google Maps is pretty accurate on this - its 1000 Metres
We drove in, and were forced to reverse out of a tight spot.
My suggestion is read this review prior to considering this campsite. Photos attached for reference.

Steves place is perfect…….had only planned to stay one night as a stopover as we passed through. Ended up staying 4. Well setup, close to town and secure yard for the dogs. Perfect……our best Hipcamp experience yet!

Exceeded expectations great block
Plenty of room for the big rig if your worried about turning around in there
From past reviews just back it in iv got a 21.6 and had no issues at all
Water and power hook up is a bonus as not alot of hipcamps have this
Plus the grass area great for the fam to play or sit around in the heat as the town is of course dry in summer so great to see they accomodate for that so your not tracking dirt all in the van just parked up nexto the grass
Thanks for the stay and will definitely be back if were in echuca again ✌️

This campsite was such a great location, in that it was close to town, but still lovely and bushy. The site itself was great with water taps, bushy private outlook and green grass. The only thing for us, camping in a tent, rather than a camper, was the noise of the traffic on the busy nearby road. Some earplugs or a caravan would have reduced this. Other than that it was an excellent site.

Loved our stay here. The site was clean, flat and easily accessible. Only 3 minutes drive to the Port of Echuca but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Access to water and power and a dump point only 5 mins away made this stop in our journey super convenient and enjoyable. Would recommend.

Did not have a good experience booked for 3 nights. Rain was expected in area, made booking knowing the conditions with host it would be raining. Also confirmed our size being 15m in total length (caravan 19.6ft with extended draw bar plus American ute) poor instructions to access with gate hill and trees, very very tight. Stressful acess. Better coming from north not south approach. Thank googoodness we where only campers as it would have been impossible to turn around and navigate trees. Block is not an acreage. First photo of camper van Green grass is NOT this block. Then of course it rained everything turned to mud and we where flooded out. We did get 2nd day email next day host advising move to gravel driveway due to mud and rain. But unfortunately we got the email after we set up and next morning after it had rained ankle deep water. With more rain expected we choose to leave as access was untenable couldn't walk around with 2 x dogs. Dry weather access only not suitable for large caravan. Asked for 1 night refund as we left. Nil response from host. Nil instructions on access and should not take booking knowing weather and block turns to mud. Unfortunately all these factors gave us a bad experience. Will not use again. Block is about 800m2 NOT even half an acres. Very difficult to turn around.

Great little private campground walking distance to town. Steve was really great communicating with us every step of the way. He had the fireplace ready to go with wood on hand. Highly recommend 👌

Nice big fire pit and comfy wooden benches. The port of echuca is within walking distance, yet camp feels like in the bush. Can be noisy on Saturday night from pub on main street,but if you are a light sleeper just bring ear plugs. Good place for camping with dogs since it is fenced in
