Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our beautiful property is located on 70 acres and has 1000m of river front on the Loddon River 3km down Newbridge Maldon Road from Bridgewater. There is an IGA supermarket nearby in Inglewood, which is 11km away, and the Bridgewater pub and bakery are located 3km away. Both world-renowned feeds. The place consists of privacy, use of kayaks and safety gear, fishing rods, boat ramp, and a lovely getaway for a couple or family. We've also recently added a basketball court, beach volleyball, mini football oval and soccer goals. Lots to do! Come here to enjoy the peace, and six meters of clean clear water at your camp door if you please. Fire pits are provided and we offer firewood for sale if needed, outside of fire-ban season - No firewood is to be taken from the property unless paid for. This is a unique camp experience. All we ask is you leave the place as you found it. The stars in the night sky are second to none, we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained, and take all waste with them. In order to protect the fragile river system, strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. Waterski boats are strictly prohibited. We require at least 12 hours notice before your stay, but if you do need a last-minute spot, please feel free to send us an enquiry and we may be able to accommodate you. Whilst pets are welcome, please inform us prior to booking if you are planning to bring pets along. We kindly ask that you keep them at your site as do not want to upset other guests with barking dogs, and wish to protect our wildlife.Multiple large, private sites are available along the edge of the river. Free to pick your own spot to set up camp, have a swim or relax on an air bed all day in the water. Tin boats are welcome, please no jet skis or wake setters. Come here to enjoy the peace! The starlit night sky’s out here on the Loddon river are truly spectacular. Firewood available $80a basket on wheels or 260per m3 . T~shirts $35 Hoodies $65 stubbie holders $5. And fresh farm eggs $5 dozen .photos on site of merchandise. Look fwd to seeing you all sooner than later . Check out Rancho Relaxo , as we call it .👌👍💯😎 There is enough space at the sites to fit approximately 4 caravans in each group comfortably. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained and take all waste with them when they leave. Pets are welcome, but please keep them on under control at your campsite, and not allow them to wander. Please also inform us in advance if you are bringing your pets. Fire pits can be provided, and firewood is available to purchase.

Loddon River Park
Don’t recommend on long weekends
If your like us and use hipcamp on long weekends to secure a nice spot and keep away from the crowds, then this is NOT the place for you. The term "Large private sites" is a gimmick, if there was 5-10 groups it would not be an issue, but when we arrived to see 30+groups we were blown away and to be honest quite annoyed as we drove 3hrs to camp on a patch of weeds in the middle of a football ground - Not private, no river frontage or access, and at no point in the 3 day stay did the host even come and greet us or introduce themselves. For $60 a night for 2A + 2C we might as well have gone to the local caravan park with facilities and access to the river Put a big dampener on our Easter holiday as the place seems like nothing more than a cash grab On a positive note, the kids loved the cows, emu's & basketball court

Great spot by the river. 3 min drive to the closest bakery (a must go to, their pies and vanilla slices are to die for) and servo. 6 min drive to the closest supermarket.

So much for everyone! Excellent.
Sites along River are great & plenty of shade to be found. Plenty of other space to camp too just not on the river. Awesome facilities for kids & adults alike wth a cricket pitch, soccer field, football oval & basketball court. If that’s not your thing you have a river that’s great for paddle boards, kayaks, inflatables, fishing etc. Mark was a fabulous host & nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend this camp.

Peaceful and close to home
It was lovely, we arrived after the Easter period and nabbed a river front site.

Rancho Ripoffo
Not what was booked. Had to camp in the paddock no chance of promised water views. We made this booking early this year. Looks like it's been opened up to accommodate the masses. What a shame as it used to be a good spot. Will not recommend this place to anyone. They are better off in a paddock for 10 bucks somewhere else.

Great spot
Great spot for camping, host was very accommodating. Very busy over Easter long weekend but lots of space regardless, make sure you bring your own toilet. Bring your kayaks for things to do.
