Maureen’s retreat is the perfect escape, with a choice of camping options all with beautiful views and the only sounds the wildlife around you. Maureen is super hospitable, offering advice regarding local walking tracks and always quick to respond to any questions or queries. I would highly recommend this camp and I will be going back again soon.

Rural Retreat
Great spot, beautiful views of hills and bush. Access to power and amenities. Maureen was an excellent host and very supportive for my first Hipcamp experience. Thanks Maureen :-)

Maureen was an amazing host. As first time hip campers & our first solo tenting experience as a couple she set our minds at ease from our first conversation. We were able to set up our tent to face a gorgeous outlook as if we were the only ones on earth. We were close enough to access power, toilet & shower facilities yet in a truly unique & private space.

Rural Retreat
We had a beautiful time at the Rural Retreat. Maureen was super lovely, helpful and accommodating. The location where we set up was gorgeous, right next to the dam. We watched the ducks land on the water and the sun set over the hills. Toilet, shower, fridge and sink available to use and all lovely and clean. Super private. Great for a getaway for 2.
