Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
160 acre block (approx 5 acres accessible to camp on) Located in a picturesque valley surrounded by sheep and cattle Good access via gravel road 10 minute drive to the boat ramp onto Lake Eildon 10 minute drive to shops Dogs allowed but MUST be on a lead or chained up - this is an operational sheep property which undertakes an intense fox baiting program all year round. Firewood available by request at an extra cost. Porta loo available for extra cost.The Flats is located on the Eastern side of a picturesque valley with approximately 2 acres of open farmland to utilize. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. For an extra charge a porta loo can be supplied (the cost will depend on the number of days for the loo). Small campfires allowed when the Mansfield District is not within the fire danger period. Boat ramp to Lake Eildon = 10 minute drive Bonnie Doon Pub = 12 minute drive Shops / service station / public toilets = 10 minute drive into Bonnie Doon township Pets are allowed but MUST remain on a leash at all times. This site is located on a fully operational livestock property which maintains a comprehensive fox and wild dog baiting program.

The Flats
Absolutely incredible
I don't even know where to start. This place is absolutely incredible and by far one of our most favourite places to camp. David's communication was impeccable and prompt. We instantly felt welcomed. The sunset was beautiful and the firewood we bought from David was unreal. I cannot recommend this place enough. We were also lucky enough to share the space with Cowes, calves, sheep and some lamb. It was truly amazing and you could not get more outdoors and in nature if you tried. Thank you for letting us stay David, we had an amazing weekend and we will be back very soon!!!
