An unbelievable setting, nestled under Castle
Rock along Cunberland River.
The campsite is constrained for space but with the river there it didn’t feel crowded. It helps that all the patrons are polite and respectful. Facilities are well maintained.
For RVs, there aren’t any dedicated facilities (water or power points, dump point etc) but we managed fine with what was provided.

The camp kitchen was very limited. No access to power for blow up mattresses and phone charging. Limited Time in showers.
I received an email prior to my stay stating I had to be there by 5pm to meet the manager that there was no late arrivals.
With this in mind we skipped past some sites to arrive on time, to discover there was late arrival arrangements we could have made. Very frustrating Communication was unclear .

Last check-in time at 5 pm for summer season is too early. We would love to stay as per our booking but due to high traffic along the way preventing us to be there by then. Alternatively, it would be good if allow self check in during the reception hours.

Hot showers, friendly guests. Indoor bbq plates and space in fridge/freezer. Great big grassy area for kids to play on. Super close to the road but not noisy. Gorgeous beach. Our only bug bears were that lots of people had fires going so it was smoky. And we camped next to the amenities block and the women’s toilet door shuts loudly.

A beautiful campground in a great location 10 minutes from Lorne with great ammenities and nice grass spots. The views within the park are unreal, and there are many kangaroos and ducks around the place. A short walk across the road will take you to a nice little beach, and there are some hikes you can do from within the park as well as nearby. Highly recommended camping here.

Great campsite in a perfect location. So much beauty all around. Great amenities and friendly staff. Shame they didn’t have electronic hookups for the camp and but everything else was so perfect. Definitely recommend

Wonderful location right next to flowing stream. Very friendly owners. Plenty of space for all to share and friendly wildlife. Although watch out for the vocations, they will steal your marshmallows 😝

I love the campsite near the river. The view and my son loves the wild ducks,birds and wallabies but our nearby campers are noisy.

Loved it and will be back again. Warm shower and bathroom is regularly cleaned. Having a firepit was really nice and kangaroos roaming around was awesome to watch!

We have a wonderful trip in Cumberland. Toilet is clean and nearby. The view is fabulous. Receptionist was helpful and full support

A very clean site, a short walk across the road to the beach & nestled on a trickling river. Bird life was amazing, laundry done & dry within an hour & very friendly reception. I would stay again.

Partly due to my misunderstanding and mainly due to misrepresentation on the website, I ended up arriving at a tent pitching site instead of a cabin for my family. I booked the venue based on my search for '2 adults+ 2 children, cabin with bedroom, kitchen and toilet, arriving on a car'. The website showed me results with all conditions met and I happened to book the place. My mistake was not paying enough attention to the word river 'site' as many properties offer cabins under the title site .
I arrived at the place only to find that it was a plane area adjacent to the river where I would have to arrange for my own camping.
I had to leave the place and find another motel at the 11th hour with my family tired from a long day's drive and sightseeing waiting in the car.
Very bad experience for me due to the misrepresented details in the website.
