This campsite is in such a beautiful spot. We had a great weekend exploring the northern Grampians with friends. The amenities are basic but it’s nice to have running water!

Great spot, excellent showers, plenty of wildlife and quite quiet, communication could have been better but this is understandable given the scouts are a volunteer organisation.

A great spot for big groups, the commercial kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils to cook lots of meals for everyone. Plenty of space around the grounds to relax in. Also plenty of great things to see nearby

It was cold cold and raining, but it was such a great site with the views of The Grampians in the background. Clean toilets, showers were clean, hot and great water pressure. We will definitely be back for more adventures.

Really beautiful, serene grounds. Amenities are basic and probably best to bring your own toilet paper to be safe. Also check for bull ant nests before setting up. Access with a 2WD was no problems.

Beautiful place!
Toilet and kitchen facilities are clean and confortable.
Got a bit of issues with mosquitoes in the cabin, so be aware of that!
We will definitely want to go back.

Beautifully well maintained camp area, spaced well apart from others, nice toilet/ shower block, really quiet, only 4 other groups in the whole site over ANZAC weekend. Phone service was patchy, when it worked it was good, but otherwise a dead zone. Easy to find and get to. Would come again!

Great spot. Been here a few times now. Nice and quiet and still close to attractions.

It was a beautiful quiet space in a great location. The showers and toilets were fine and it was great to have available after hiking all day. There were a couple of other campers there but being so spread out we didn’t really notice them. It was relaxing sitting by the fire at night with visitors from the local wildlife throughout the night.

Location & Accessibility:
The campsite is accessible via a 2km gravel & rocky route, adding to its remote and secluded charm.
Amenities:
The site offers a calm and vast space with plenty of room to spread out. It features toilets and showers, a kitchen, and an indoor hangout space, which was a lifesaver on a super hot day.
Pros:
Calm and Remote: Perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
Spacious: Plenty of room for activities and relaxation.
Kitchen Availability: Convenient for meal preparations.
Indoor Hangout Space: Great for beating the heat.
Cons:
No Drinking Water: Despite the host's promise, there was no drinking water available. We had to travel 8km to the nearest store to get water.
Shower Issues: The showers didn't work on our second day due to a lack of water.
Maintenance: Toilets and showers were functional but poorly maintained.
Overall Experience:
Despite some issues with water availability and maintenance, we had a great experience. The campsite's seclusion and amenities made for a relaxing stay. I recommend this site for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

Scout camp was fantastic!
Spacious and plenty of area for groups to spread out but also not be too close to neighboring groups.
Facilities - Loved the fridge room to keep everything cold especially staying over multiple days, plenty of BBQs around, laundry (didn’t use tho), washbasin with hot water - all super handy extras! Showers and toilets very basic, little bit unkept but to be expected out in the bush and not used everyday, but that wasn’t an issue as they were fully functioning and the hot water and shower pressure were outstanding!!
Quiet enough to be relaxing but great access to Grampians, multiple walks/waterfalls and only 30mins from Halls Gap.
Was genuinely impressed with this place given only $15 a night.
Aaron was accessible and sent through easy to use instructions. Also love that $$ goes towards maintaining the account camp.
Will definitely be back!

Fantastic campsite with lots of facilities in great condition. My friends and I loved camping here over the long weekend and enjoyed the serenity during the night. We were a little worried on how busy the site would be as it was fully booked but all the spots were spread out over the large property. Highly recommend staying here!

Aaron was easily contactable which was very helpful. We shared the communal kitchen and bathrooms with some other respectful families. The bunk rooms were basic but purposeful. The kitchen was well equipped. The surrounding property was quite beautiful and the proximity it beautiful walks was excellent.

It’s a great campsite to stay at to explore Gariwerd. It has all the facilities you need - running water, showers, toilets, fire pits, washing up basin, etc, to make your stay very comfortable. When we stayed, there were no other campers so we had our pick of the sites but there is heaps of room to spread out when it’s busier. Will definitely be staying again.

My friends and I loved staying here for the weekend! Such a great price with all the amenities. Big kitchen, clean 30-person bunk room, ping pong table, fireplace, hot showers and more. I would definitely reccomend this place and come back for a longer time. Bring warm clothes if it’s Winter :)

We have a huge family that lives all over Vic so it's hard for us to find a park big enough for all of us so when I came across this scout camp we were excited & it didn't disappoint! It accommodated all our family & their needs & we will definitely be back for round 2 sometime soon!

Went tent camping, plenty of room and easy access to all the facilities.
Includes kitchen with drinking water, boiling water, stove, oven and sinks. Hot showers, toilets and plenty of firewood everywhere .
The road wasn't too bad to drive in, abit rocky but take your time and all good. Even small cars.
Only bad point is that some other campers there played loud music till 12 am which was annoying.
