Quiet, flat sites with power and water. Steve was very welcoming when we arrived. Downside was that there were a few dogs wandering round unattended which meant there were a few ‘land mines’ around our plot.
Steve was very communicative with us prior to our arrival.

It had a nice atmosphere about it. The host Steve very accommodating, arranging an outdoor fire for the guests to mingle around and he even let us use his gas pizza oven...so highly recommended.

Great place. Steve is an amazing host. Very friendly and generous, he lit a campfire for us and made sure we were hooked up to power and water. We shared his space with some other lovely campers, kids loved riding bikes around the property and all the very well behaved dogs had a ball. Thanks Steve for hosting us for a great Melbourne Cup weekend.

Steve was an amazing host!
Right from the get go, he was friendly, accommodating and helpful.
The property is beautiful, and an added bonus of Milo the dog who loves pats.
Steve let us use his firewood, and it's great quality! We had two fired and not once did we smell of smoke.
We were able to hook up to water and electricity at the property and there was heaps of space between us and the next campers.
Everyone there was so lovely, the kids all ride their bikes around and played games.
It's super safe as the gate is always shut, so our minds could relax as our kids and dog were safe.
Only bummer was that the pool wasn't working, but there is a cool little indoor swim centre just 300 metres up the road. However, Steve is going to get around to fixing the pool this weekend.
Steve was always making sure all campers were happy and was helping out where ever he could, despite having quiet a bad back.
Honestly, could not fault our trip at all.
Steve is a genuine, kind person and we would love to come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Steve’s! It is the perfect camp spot before boarding the SOT.
Nice grassy area with power, Also a great fire pit with wood supplied. Steve is an exceptional host.

Lovely spot, nice and close to Bendigo.
We stayed in the orchard and had the place to ourselves.

Although we didn't get to meet Steve, he has a lovely well kept property with lots of level places to pitch a tent or position your caravan. Really enjoyed our quiet and relaxed stay with everything you need all close by.
There is power and water available at the shed, but it may be necessary to bring your own extension lead and hose with adapters.

We loved our first tent camping experience with our 1 year old, the site was secure and enclosed which was great with a roaming baby and pets, water and power were available, if you need a shower youll need to bring your own powered one otherwise at East Beach Geelong the public showers are heated until 10am.
Daisy was really nice and accomodating to any of our requests. We were able to have a fire pit using our own wood, and for 3 nights we only needed 8 logs. The pool wasnt accessible to swimming at this time of year as the weather didnt permit. The area was quiet, serene and other guests we met were really lovely.
This spot is 25 minutes from Barwon heads and its beaches, which is one of our favourite areas and your not too far from shops and the esplanade if you feel like being social.
We will be coming back again.

Steve is super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate at 8pm after we'd come off the Spirit of Tasmania and got us settled and had a lovely chat.
The site is a 1 acre block on the edge of Geelong only about 20 minutes from the ferry. It's nice and flat and easily accessible for overnighters like we were but also has longer term visitors for weeks (or a family we met there had been using it as base for a couple of months!
Our dogs also got the treat of being able to play off lead with Steve's dog and another guest's dog as the property is fully fenced and, as long as all the doggos are getting on and being supervised, it's fairly relaxed.
I'd recommend this as a great overnighter befor or after the ferry but also as a base to explore Geelong.

Great spot for the night. Steve was super helpful (we needed to wash out van and ended up having a few maintenance issues - he was very kind and helpful lending us a ladder, setting up a hose etc). Peaceful, quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely my favourite Hipcamp stay so far in 18 months of travel. Steve went above and beyond for us. Fantastic host, beautiful spot. Met sone awesome prople. Great night of socialising. Cant wait to be back in August.

Steve is a fantastic host and was so accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay and his company, as well as the other campers on site. Beautiful pool and his dog Milo was an absolute gem. Would definitely make the trek over from Canada again just to come back here! 10/10

Steve is a fantastic host, very friendly and inviting. Loved having a drink with him and other campers around the lovely pool area. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp if in Geelong. Easy accessible for bigger caravans and great location.

Great place to stay, really safe and secure and an awesome location, close to beaches and shops, the best part for us is that it is pet friendly and Steve has made sure the dogs can run around and play without worrying they can escape.

My partner and I loved staying here in our little tent, but I think our dog loved it even more!! She had so much fun being able to roam around freely and play with other beautiful dogs. Steve was great, he was super friendly, easy going and responsive! We can’t wait to come back!
