If you’re looking for a peaceful escape where you can truly unwind, this is a beautiful place to camp.
Set beside a gentle little creek, the site offers the perfect balance of sun and shade, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. It feels wonderfully private and secure, with two gates providing a sense of safety so you can relax and make the space your own.
It’s a fantastic spot for families too—kids can run, explore and laugh as loudly as they like without worrying about disturbing anyone. In the evening, the sky comes alive with incredible stars, making it the perfect place to sit back and soak in the quiet.
Despite feeling like you’re tucked away in the countryside, you’re only minutes from Romsey, where you’ll find great shops, a welcoming pub and playgrounds for the kids. Charming towns like Lancefield and Woodend are also close by if you feel like exploring a little further.
The hosts are friendly and communicate well, making everything easy while still giving you plenty of space to enjoy your stay.
Easy to find, spacious, peaceful and welcoming—this is definitely a Hipcamp worth adding to your favourites.

Fabulous location - easy to get into and set up. Private site. We had 3 small dogs with us - no problems. While it feels secluded - you are within a stones throw (5mins) from Romsey town centre. Fire pit and kindling provided. Belinda is a great host - we will be coming back.

We loved this campsite! Beautiful spot close to Melbourne. Very quiet and felt a million miles away. Great sense of space.
Belinda very responsive and helped straight away when we had any issues. Grass is cut short which is good incase of snakes.
