Excellent camping/glsmping!

Betsy was wonderful! We got a little lost getting there and it was getting dark, but she came right over to our campsite when we arrived to welcome us and deliver the wood we bought. I highly recommend buying some wood because she even brings kindling, newspaper & a fire starter in order to make a lovely campfire under the stars! I highly recommend Betsey’s place!

My boyfriend and I loved camping on Betsey’s land. We were on Aspen Oasis site and everything we needed was there (cooking equipment, flashlight, towel, clean bed with tons of blankets, …)! The wooden stove is a must for the chilly nights, and Betsey provided plenty of wood for us to feel comfortable. We highly recommend !

Best camping we've discovered near the Kingdom Trails. Quiet and private with outdoor shower option, mounds of dirt for kids to ride on, and a very sweet host. 5 mins to the trails.

We LOVED our stay with Betsey!! Our crew rented the two bell tents and a tent site for a weekend bike trip. Each site was clean, well kept, and so cozy. The sites all have plenty of privacy while still being close proximity to the bathrooms and other sites. The bell tents had every single thing you could possibly think of. Solar powered lights, cute decor, maps of the area, a first aid kit, flash lights, bear horn, literally you name it and it was in there. It got down to 31 degrees at night consistently during our stay and our beds were stacked with blankets as well as flannel sheets. The beds are COMFY. The tents have a wood stove as well that heats up quick. I have never been to a more thoughtful glamping set up that still felt like a solid weekend of off grid camping. The stars are also insane on the property so be prepared to need a neck massage from looking up all night! Betsey was the best host and really, really cares. She was super attentive and incredibly kind start to finish. Not to mention the sites are just a quick ride to all of the trails as well as down town. 100/10 would stay with Betsey again and I’ll be recommending to anyone that’ll listen!! Thank you so much!!!

Camping in the Fall

I’m always very straight forward when it comes to reviews and let me start by saying this was one of the best places I’ve stayed at recently. The host was very very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She also gave us some extra wood for the wood stove in the tent even before we had the chance to ask her. Bathrooms and shower was available on site along with towels and wash cloths. Charcoal and propane grill on site with charcoal and propane. Pots pans and everything from forks to a French press was available. Even had a hammock that my wife lived on while we were there. I came up to Vermont from Michigan to do fall color tour in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine and this site was a good spot to hit all of the beautiful areas that part of the country has to offer. The town close by has a good restaurant we went too and from the looks of it there’s many very nice restaurants if you’re looking to go out to eat, some needed reservations but was worth reserving. All in all fantastic experience. I can’t comment on what it’s like with other campers since we were the only ones there but water hose on site next to the chickens nice clear sky to stare into at night. 100% would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Also if you’re around for biking they have cool little jumps on site you can use. Thank you for a great experience !

Betsey has made sure you have everything that you could need - cozy bedding, cooking essentials, trail maps and even down to the little details of pumpkins out to decorate. The perfect location for exploring Kingdom Trails and making a romantic, weekend getaway wrapped into one. Will absolutely be coming back!!

Perfect camping spot in Burke!

Wow this was such a beautiful property! It was quiet, quaint and had beautiful views. My husband and I stayed at the Apple Landing tent site and were very impressed with the space. It had plenty of room to tuck back our tent in the tree line, trees to hang up our hammock, and also came with a conveniently covered picnic bench and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. One of the best parts was the apple tree that had solar powered lights on it that would light up in the evening. Betsey also has delicious eggs available to purchase! If you’re looking for a camping experience minus the close company of others this is your place!

Quiet, Secluded, Perfect

Lovely well spaced sites past their garden. No leveling needed for my van at Apple Tree and another site is level and pull through. If you've got a tent, the tent pads are privately tucked into the woods. I didn't glamp, but those looked nice. Accessable even to those with no camping gear of their own. There are no RV services here. Plan your water and wastewater needs accordingly.

We stayed at Forest Edge for two evenings. It provided a great base location for gravel riding both locally and in Peacham. There are four sites on the property, and Forest Edge is the most private (all have relatively good buffers - the sites are separated by groups of trees). We had intended to camp with friends, and if this is a goal I would highly recommend Betsey’s place. Each site has a nice picnic table, fire pit, and sitting area. The glamping tents each had lovely mumms surrounding them, and each picnic table had a small pumpkin. Betsey clearly takes pride in what she provides to guests. We could not see the other campsites from Forest Edge, even though they are relatively close. The porta potties were very clean. One night we asked if it was possible to get firewood at the last minute, and Betsey was quick and responding and able to accommodate us, which was greatly appreciated. We were able to bike directly from the property onto the gravel roads and then to the trails - so great location if that is your goal.

Great access to Kingdom Trails

If you’re looking for a place to camp near the Kingdom Trails network, Betsey’s is tops! We parked our 36 foot RV on her lovely property and biked to our favorite spots/trails-heads. Betsey was a great communicator and greeted us at our site. The handful of tent/rv sites offered are spaced out of site of each other and level for easy RV living. We will be back!

We so enjoyed Green Mountain Glamping in August, that we returned with another friend in September! The nights were chilly, but no worries—Betsey had plenty of blankets on the comfy beds, plus plenty of firewood for the little tent stove. She even supplied us with hot water for the outdoor shower to clean the dust and sweat off after a fun day of mountain biking. We will definitely return—Betsey is an awesome host!

Great glamping!

We had a great stay! Camp site was perfect for our truck camper. Portable washrooms were very handy and clean! Wood was available and dry with a great fire pit and chairs! Location for bike trails is great and water and bike cleaning station were a great added feature. Betsey was always available and quick to assist. We will certainly be planning a return trip.

My fiancé and I had a great stay here. The site is really easy to find and perfectly situated to kingdom trails and town. It was awesome having a fire starting kit waiting at the campsite and Betsey even left us a cute bouquet of flowers. We will definitely be staying again!

Pine Haven Tent Site

The Pine Haven tent and grounds were perfect for our two day tour of the Kingdom bike trails! Betsey had all the amenities well thought out and everything was extremely clean! We had a rain day, which made the glamping choice such a great idea. There were comfy chairs in the hut so we could chill and wait for the weather to clear. The trail system and small town of Burke are a mountain biker's paradise. We will definitely be back!

Mountain biking at KT!

We stayed at the forest edge campsite for a weekend of riding at Kingdom trails. The campsite was great! Nice fire pit, chairs, picnic bench and umbrella made the site stand out from others. The location is only a short ride to the trail system! The property is very nice and everything is well kept! Betsey was an amazing host! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time for our first glamping experience! We stayed our second to last night biking the VTXL, so using the grill, having a camp fire, and sleeping in a cozy bed felt luxurious! The directions were very clear and communication was great.
