WildWing Retreat is a beautiful 25 acre bush block in Four Mile Creek, located within a 15 minute (1km) walk, to the local surf beach of Four Mile. The property has been created to host retreats centred around nature immersion, movement and connection (i.e yoga, bodywork, dance, meditation, mindfuness, embodiment practices etc) and in the 'off season' it's available to host hipcampers! The space has been designed to host large groups, so there are full facilities available to use, including 3 x compost toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen with all plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, pots and pans, gas cookers and fresh running hot and cold water. There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!). There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in! We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus. There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes. We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park. We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land. Loved the convenience and comfort of the toilets, showers and the communal kitchen, such a peaceful, inviting space. The directions to the beach were so helpful and it was the nicest little jaunt down to the ocean. Everything was functional and easy, loved my stay. Thank you guys. Hope to be back with friends next time.

Ebony was a wonderful host only there for five minutes told you the basics of how the property ran said respect amd enjoy the property and id did it was blissful and peaceful.

What a magical setup! Camping here felt truly luxurious, from small details like the cute array of bowls and cups to the hot showers with bush views, and the fanciest composting loos you’ve ever seen. Plenty of place to spread out, even with other campers around. Loved hanging out with the local wildlife and listening to the birdsong in the mornings and evenings. Could not recommend this place more 🩵

So beautiful! Worth popping your stuff in a wheelbarrow and heading out to the lovely quiet bush camps. The facilities are so lovely, and nicest drop toilets i've ever sat on.

A great base for exploring the Bay of Fires and beaches towards Bicheno! Showers were a huge highlight. The walk down to Four Mile Creek beach was also great. Also would be a great place to bring a swag and have a private bush campsite.

Awesome hot showers and facilities, more geared towards tent camping as there is some Campervan spots but only 1 is private, the others are not as nice (in my opinion). Ebony was fantastic friendly and happy to help with any enquiries if needed, everything you need in the kitchen and communal areas if you don’t have it with you or are not in a self contained Campervan. Great spot to base yourself for adventures, firewood available as an extra, top end of price point over Xmas but hot showers at the end of the day is amazing. Easy directions provided to locate Hipcamp. THANKYOU Ebony!!!!!

Well cared land with serene outlooks and easy access to the beach. The camp kitchen, seating spaces and hot showers cushion against inclement weather. Ebony is a very helpful host and along with Danny, has created a wonderfully peaceful space you are bound to enjoy.

I loved the well crafted shelters, each with beautiful features, made from the timber grown on-site and found materials. The bush setting was peaceful and restoring, and the short amble down to the beach was a delight. The plumbing seemed like a sculpture, and worked well, solar hot and fresh cold water. Danny welcomed us warmly and we felt at home and comfortable.

Ebony and Danny have created a wonderful, special spot that was the perfect place for our family. The space itself is beautiful and all the facilities are excellent. Both Ebony and Danny were lovely and super accommodating. We spent 8 nights here and could have spent more. Highly recommend this magical spot

Beautiful location with an amazing set up. Communal kitchen, lounge area and showers made camping really comfortable. Lots of little bush tracks to explore with a beautiful creek. Really close to the beach so everything was convenient.

The communal set up is great, with 4 gas burners , saucepans and frypans. The toilets were compost toilets and a little 'hardcore', but super cute and clean, and an experience. There's a yoga deck with one communal matt if you wanna stretch. The standard camping area has 5 camp sites that are relatively close together. One of the campers unfortunately had a boom box, and the music was on way past 11pm. Another set of campers was a noisy family with children that had constant melt downs, who then all got sick. Of course this is nothing to do with the wonderful hosts, but this was who was there at the same time as us. There are wonderful camping spots throughout the amazing property, you have to carry your stuff or take a wheeelbarrow a fair distance for privacy. It definitely was not an option for us to walk a car-load of gear to a secluded site. On the 3 nights we stayed, there was a black snake who hung around and quickly got out of the way when you came walking along- it is the absolute bush so it's expected. I would recommend this site, I found it was relatively expensive for a family, but with the care that went into the property, and the fact the hosts come over each day to light a fire to heat the hot water (hot water 6 pm, until around 8pm) I can understand why.

WildWing Retreat was so awesome and so relaxing. The facilities were great and the scenery was beautiful. My husband and I had a nice private spot for our van, where we were able to watch the birds and cicadas settle for the night. Highly recommend!
