A quiet, grassy campervan stopover in Birchs Bay — perfect for a peaceful night (or three) along Tasmania’s Southern Edge Drive. Flat access, birdlife, fires when permitted, and a fully self-contained, leave-no-trace stay.Welcome to Devlo Land, a simple and peaceful campervan stopover in Birchs Bay, located along Tasmania’s beautiful Southern Edge Drive. This site is designed for travellers who value quiet, space, and simplicity. It’s an easy stopover for those exploring the southern coastline, with open grass, fresh air, and regular visits from local birdlife — including wedge-tailed eagles often seen soaring overhead. You’ll be just: • 5 minutes from the charming village of Woodbridge • 9 minutes from Kettering, the gateway to Bruny Island The land sits slightly back from the road, offering a calm, rural feel while still being easy to access. About the Site • Flat, grassed campsite • Approx. 20 metres long x 12 metres wide • 2WD accessible • Located outside the main gate — no gate opening required • Relatively flat and will not get boggy in the rain • Suitable for fully self-contained campervans only The booking is for the entire site, giving you space and privacy. IMPORTANT ACCESS INFORMATION – PLEASE READ There is a culvert beside the crossover/entry driveway that must not be driven on. • There is a clear 5-metre-wide entry gap between the culvert and the fence • This is the only entry and exit point • The culvert is not load-rated for vehicles • Extra care is required if arriving at night Reflectors are installed to help guide you. Please review the photos before arrival and take your time when entering and exiting the site. Fires Campfires are welcome when there is no local fire ban. Guests must bring their own firewood and ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving. Self-Contained Only This is a fully self-contained campsite. • No toilet provided • No drinking water • No rubbish facilities Please arrive prepared and leave nothing behind. This helps keep the land quiet and private. Dogs, Families & Stay Limits • Dogs are welcome and must be kept under control • A fully fenced paddock may be available for off-lead use with permission (contact caretaker after booking) Quiet & Respectful Use This is a peaceful and quiet rural area.
