Tucked away among lush native trees, this property offers a peaceful sanctuary with excellent access for all vehicle types, including large caravans and motorhomes. You’ll enjoy the ultimate location for a Tasmanian adventure: we are within easy walking distance of the Homemaker Centre and the historic Don River Railway, and just a quick 5-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal. Best of all, you are perfectly positioned for day trips, with the iconic Cradle Mountain just one hour away. Whether you’re just rolling off the ferry or looking for a quiet base to explore the North West, this site offers the space and tranquility you need to truly unwind.Devonport Camp Grounds is a 2 acre property surrounded by a seclusion of bush, but ideally situated in the heart of Devonport To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, please follow these guidelines for our site: 1. Self-Contained Vehicles Only · Campers must be fully self-contained for sleeping, cooking, and waste storage. 2. Stay Within the Designated Camping Area · Do not enter the bush line or surrounding vegetation. · This area is private, environmentally sensitive, and off-limits 3. Respect the Property · Keep your campsite tidy. · No digging, cutting vegetation, or disturbing wildlife. 4. Fires & Cooking · Fire pits are available for use. · Kindling/firewood for sale on site · Fires must remain within the provided pits at all times. · Follow all local fire restrictions and fully extinguish fires before leaving them unattended. · Gas cookers are permitted when used safely. 5. Waste & Rubbish · No rubbish bins are provided — all waste must be taken with you. · No dumping of greywater or chemicals on the property. 6. Noise & Courtesy · Be considerate of neighbours and other campers. 7. Pets · Pets must be under control at all times (on leash). · Clean up after them promptly. 8. Safety & Liability · You are responsible for your own safety and belongings. · The property owners are not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss.
