Babbling Brook Campsite - loved it!

Blythe River Campground
Lovely babbling brook to camp next to on a grassy large block, with plenty of room for other campers. Campfires allowed which was much appreciated, as it was really cold and wet the weekend we were there.
We loved watching the horses in the nearby paddock get excited when their feed was delivered.
We were very happy to find this hipcamp at short notice with a shower & toilet, as the pump in our van broke during the long weekend.

Awesome spot by the Blythe River. We arrived late in the evening and the host still came out to greet us, which was really nice. The toilet and shower was a big win for us which saved us having to use the fresh water in our camper. The river is literally right next to the campground, giving easy access to running water. Had a memorable night by the river! Greatly recommended👍🏻

What an absolutely beautiful spot to camp! We were here midweek for 2 nights and had the place to ourselves. The hot shower and toilet were an added bonus and so appreciated. Directions were easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your fabulous property with us!

This spot is beautiful with views of the surrounding countryside. It is peaceful and close to the creek and river.

What a lovely surprise this was. We arrived in Davenport on the Spirit of Tasmania and decided to camp here for our first few nights in Tassie. WOW! It was a beautiful place. Lots of lovely sights to see around the area and the facilities were great. Thank you.

Beautiful spot down by the river, amongst the trees. Peaceful and relaxing. The added bonus of a hot shower is a real kicker in winter. Only 15 minutes to Penguin means you can duck out for anything forgotten or a bite to eat. We will be back.

Had a great stay here! Nice and flat and lots of room (we were the only ones there lol)! Hot showers were a gem - all the facilities (washing up sink, toilets and shower) were clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location at the confluence of Adam’s Creek and Blythe River. Camping in a lightly timbered, semi open area. Toilet and shower on site with hot water also available at the ‘kitchen sink’.

This was a lovely little spot, and the toilets and showers were a nice feature! There are fire pits at every site, the sites are quite close together but still allow for privacy and enough room to set up properly 😊

As described in just about every review, this is an absolutely lovely campsite by the river with the added bonus of a great toilet and shower facility. We enjoyed 3 days of wonderful camping with a terrific bunch of fellow campers over the Easter break. Unfortunately we also had one night of absolute mayhem due to the extraordinarily drunken and abusive behaviour from a group who arrived on the Sat. night. Without a doubt the worst behaviour we have ever experienced on our camping trips so far. They were kicked out the next day but that was a totally sleepless and stressful night that overshadowed the rest of our stay.

Beautiful camp site right on the river. Reasonably level sites. Facilities were clean. Peaceful. Great that the hosts provided Wi-Fi access. Nothing to complain about except that it was so nice it was hard to leave.

The campsites are spaced well apart, feels like you have the place to yourself. The toilet and shower were placed well and there is a large sink there too. The river runs gently over the rocks. It is beautiful and our favorite campground.
