Absolutely beautiful place, so remote and quiet. Felt so free. Cabin was so cute, we stayed in our rooftop tent. Dogs loved the place.

This place is incredible! It’s like a fairytale cottage on the woods! Indoor fireplace was so lovely to camp in swags in front of, and the flushing toilet is such a luxury. Will definitely return

Just over an easy hours drive from Adelaide. The Cottage is on a hill surrounded by native pines, constructed of stone and timber with large windows and leadlight feature windows. With a twisted ladder of natural branches to a loft area. Open fire place was great on a cold night and small timber outbuilding with flushing toilet made the experience a bit more civilized but still an off grid experience. Bird calls a highlight and star gazing. Outdoor area with fire pit

Amazing place! Very serene and beautiful, especially for those of us who love lichen and birds. The cottage is gorgeous and cosy, it was a privilege to stay there.
It's easy to get to and well signed to the site. I'll definitely be recommending it to the campers I know!

We camped here for four nights. The cottage is a great little convenience for when the weather turns hot (or cold). The kids slept in there, off the ground and under mozzie nets and loved it.
The flushing toilet sits in its own small room (shed?) just behind the cottage and has a spot to have a shower (BYO shower).
The ground is rocky and hard so if you’re tent camping, bring screw-in pegs (and some patience). The fire pit was a good size and there are several flat spots to set tents up.
Go slow on the drive in and out if you’re in a small/low car, as there are some rocky spots.
It was nice and quiet and Brendan was a great host. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely stoked to find this little secluded place, it had such a remote feeling. We stoked up the fire place up and then took in the 360 degree views of the electrical storm surrounding us. Perfect weekend.

I loved this place, well set out, easy to find and get to. Very secluded and a great spot to kick back and relax. Great cottage and great set out area with camp fire spot to sit around. Bathroom building was great with aflushing toilet and a spot to hang your camp shower. This was definitely a great spot , and we'll definitely be back.

Great quiet location, it is rustic and you need to bring everything and that’s the beauty of it. Think of it with camping but having a solid roof and a flushing toilet.
Had a great time with the kids and everything was easy.

Great spot the fire place in the cottage is awesome on a cold night. Toilet and rubbish bins a nice touch . Nice quiet spot in bushland , kids loved it.

What an amazing place! Honestly really impressed with the restoration of this old building. We'd come armed with tent but left that in the car to enjoy this beautiful spot. So peaceful - the perfect place to recharge your soul. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely secluded spot and easily found. The cottage exceeded my expectations. The Bathroom building was very functional with a spot to hang your shower.
2 4G bars on on Optus most of the time.
Firepit area is great with plenty of space to park, but you need will need vehicle clearance to access it due to big rocks.

Exactly as advertised.The dogs had a ball. The cottage itself was a godsend with the weather.Brendan checked in on us after work on his way home,nice young fella (the dogs loved him,always a good sign).

Great secluded site, including a lovely old cottage with a fireplace, table and raised sleeping platform that gives you plenty of options for indoor or outdoor camping. We would definitely go again.

One of my favourite camping spots for sure! Great location, flushing toilet, and really cute cabin. No other camp sites around so it’s very quiet and peaceful.

Had a great time at The Cottage. Loads of space so we could spread out with the tents and swags. The site has a flushing toilet and a hand basin with running water, and was very clean. Inside the cottage is a fireplace which was great, especially as it was 5 degrees outside and raining, also a great place to set up as a camp kitchen. The property is large and quiet. A great place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. The owner was very helpful. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.
