Luke, Arna and the Family would like to welcome you to Yabba Ridge Farm. We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests. We offer 4 sites, both powered and non-powered sites. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

Our stay at Yabba Ridge was wonderful. We loved how quiet it was. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. The amenities were great with lovely hot showers and close to the campsite. The campsites were huge. We enjoyed relaxing and taking in the fabulous view of the ridge and the creek below. It is a bonus that it is so close to town where we could stock up at the local butchers and had a lovely lunch at The Wild Vine.

It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and tranquil and the kayaks were a huge hit! It was great to be able to swim in the creek, yet have a hot shower at the end of the day. We loved feeding the animals. Such a great stay!

Very nice stay at this working farm (wood processing) with kind of an interesting wild life park. All clean and tidy. We enjoyed particular having our tent pitched up at the creek and we were allowed to bring our dog. Five stars. Highly recommended.

Quiet Privacy at The Landing

IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED PRIVACY & ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS THE SITE: "The Landing" is a small, private site for four. It's tucked below the main area for better privacy and less noise, though the hill backdrop means you lose direct sun earlier in the evening. Note: The property line backs onto another campground; while there was plenty of space, the neighbors may not follow the same 9pm noise curfew as Yabba Ridge. WATER & ACTIVITIES: Two clean, flowing water access points are nearby for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. You can also feed the longhorns, ostriches, chickens through the fence (no entry to enclosures), which was a great experience. FACILITIES: The showers and toilets are spotless, well-stocked, and feature cool deer-themed fixtures. Since this was a holiday weekend, there were occasional waits. As this site is the furthest from the amenities, I’d recommend a portable toilet for night-time use to avoid the walk up the hill. OVERALL: The property is impeccably maintained with minimal road noise. Friendly family dogs will likely drop by to say hello! Imbil is only 2 mins away for supplies (IGA/Bottle shop). A beautiful, well-kept spot. We’ll be back!

Highly recommend staying at Yabba Ridge, set in the beautiful Imbil region. This property is great and has a vast range of animals including Ostriches, Watusi Longhorn cattle, pigs, chooks etc etc. The property is beautifully maintained and the amenities are excellent. There are only 6 sites and they are huge, overlooking Yabba Creek and pet friendly. The best site for your van is Flat Top Campsite 1. Has power and water if required. There is plenty to explore as the farm is 5mins to Imbil, 20mins to Kenilworth, 10mins to Lake Borumba, 30-40 mins to Gympie and 1 hour to Noosa. It’s a credit to the hosts Arna and Luke.

Camped on the Lower Flats with friends. Plenty of space for multiple tents. Very close to amenities and has a firepit on site with firewood readily available to purchase. Sun is pretty intense in mornings but during midday and afternoons many parts are in shade. Hot showers and clean toilets is a huge plus for families and the township of Imbil has lots of great shops and food available.

Great setting, campsite no. 1 was spacious with a lovely view of the creek. Owners were friendly and helpful. Amenities were spotless. We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the constant hum from the sawmill across the road that ran all day and most of the night and the sound of trucks reversing..it wasn't too disruptive but did spoil the ambience a bit. Otherwise a lovely spot.

We absolutely loved our stay! Arna was so lovely & I'm so thankful she shared a piece of her home with us. Our daughter had an absolute blast, but if you asked her the highlight was feeding the animals. If your looking for a slice of heaven then be sure to visit yabba ridge.

What a beautiful site, nestled on the banks of the creek with large sites. Hot showers and flushing toilets were a plus too. The farm had an abundance of animals to feed, large horned cows, emus, pigs. We will certainly be back.

The camp sites are spacious, hosts friendly and helpful. The unique farm animals are special. It was fun kayaking on the creek. Good set up for dogs. Lower flat site was too wet to stay at as it had been raining a fair bit so we were moved to a higher spot.

We returned to our favourite spot - The Gums, for another weekend away. The site is spectacular, after a rainy week, the ground was firm and when the sun came out, the creek was perfect to lounge in. A peaceful escape, great facilities, hosts and animals!

What an experience! Camp grounds were clean and tidy! Lethe kids loved feeding the ostrich, seeing the long horn cows and exploring the creek! Highly recommend!

We loved our weekend getaway on the Lower flats, peaceful private site, creek was beautiful, clean facilities. Visit to the farm animals was fun. So close to Imbil or the dam, easy location. Definitely love to visit again.

Very picturesque setting. Thoroughly enjoyed my get away, I found it very relaxing. My dog also loved her experience. We enjoyed the free kayaks to use when ever we wanted. The creek was very peaceful and warm. Host was very friendly and I also found the amenities a plus. 10/10 will definitely be taking the whole family there one day.

The campsites are beautiful and huge. The toilets and showers are excellent. There are some sites with 15amp power directly in the site, which is awesome. The creek is beautiful and they have kayaks / life jackets you can use. For our group’s needs, the drone of the sawmill across the road became an irritation. It’s a constant drone. We don’t mind truck noise and road noise. For most people, the drone will be totally unnoticeable. Some people in our group noticed it.
