Located just 3 km west of Imbil township, and 10 km from Borumba Dam, Yabba Creek Farm is nestled along the tranquil Yabba Creek, with majestic Mount Grainger and forested ridge-lines as your ever-changing backdrop. It’s one of three Hipcamps along this stretch of the creek… just after Yabba Ridge and before Maluka Park 2025 Best Hipcamp WINNER!! ***IMPORTANT. STRICTLY NO PARTIES** general socialisation noise ok, but no loud music or excessive noise. Curfew 9pm all noise. Free kayak hire – 🛶 A must-do to explore the beauty that brings visitors back again and again. Deep Swimming holes and shallow creek areas. Perfect for both adventurers and little ones. Set right near the water’s edge, it boasts breathtaking views of Mount Grainger’s rugged cliff faces and forested peaks. Keep an eye out for our resident and frequently sighted platypus, lungfish, and turtles. They are often spotted right from the site. With private access to the most picturesque stretch of creek for swimming beside the huge fallen boulders, this is a must-stay location for those craving, connection, and a deeper breath of nature. - Campfires welcome in the provided fire pit. Firewood available for purchase off the farm. - No caravans, but small off-road camper trailers are okay (requires confident maneuvering around trees) - 4WD preferred, though 2WD can be accommodated with care - Designed for privacy and serenity. Your own pocket of paradise (please note, there are other sites close to this site, and other guests do paddle past and swim to the rocks especially during weekends and school holiday). Other info.. - Approx 200m to toilets and tap water. - Limited sunlight during winter. Part sun during summer. STRICTLY NO PARTIES!!! No loud music or excessive noice. It’s close to toilet and also water hook up within site. Bush shower cold water only. Option to BYO hot tap and connect Frequent visits from chickens and turkey you are welcome to feed at any time in your camp.. please be mindful of booking with dogs as it’s a busy camp with animals “Grey Gums” is a short walk to the creek where you’ll have free use of the Yabba Creek Farm kayaks. “Mountain View"
Loved camping at Mountain Views. Our Second time visiting Kaylea's property and it keeps getting better. The river was a bit quick to take the kids for a paddle this time but they definitely loved the trampoline and swings. The outdoor shower was nice and some cold drinks with a beautiful sunset was a great way to finish each day. Thanks for having us again we will be back again.

The hidden Gem is a lovely private campsite.. With a view across the river of the tree lined ridge, it was great to sit and watch and listen to bird life. The water hose at the campsite to rinse off was a great addition. With Imbil township on the way home and its amazing bakery. Look forward to returning soon.

Dean was a great host. Easy access and area for caravan was well maintained. Loved the outdoor bush shower and easy access to Yabba Creek. We paddled the free kayaks down to Imbil and back. Great fun. Relaxed around the fire at night and enjoyed the quietness. Great stay for three nights.

This was my second time camping at Yabba Creek Farm, this time at the Hidden Gem site. It is the most stunning location and I had the best time exploring Yabba Creek with the free kayaks provided. The owners are lovely and do such a great job running this Hipcamp - toilets are always clean and check-in is easy and relaxed. As a solo female camper I feel very safe here. I loved every minute of my stay and recommend this campsite to people all the time. I really don't see how it could be any better - thanks guys!!

Silky oaks was the perfect spot to unwind. Short walk to the creek with kayaks for the guests to use. Great for swimming or spending the day in the kayak. Amenities are clean. Grounds are kept perfect. We’d definitely visit again.

We were met at the property by Kaylea who was super nice!! She led us to our site which was “Stones Throw”. She told us where the sun sets and rises etc so we could plan where we set up if we wanted shade etc. So helpful. We absolutely loved it. If I’m honest I didn’t think I was going to stay past the first night because of a spider or 2. Obviously not their fault but I was petrified lol. But so glad we stayed!! We loved the kayaks, the creek was amazing, the property was well looked after. Looking at the mountains was great. It was quiet considering there were lots of people staying here. The loudest people were those staying at other hipcamps in the creek. I will say the only thing is the toilets were a bit far away. There was no way in hell I was walking there in the middle of the night. But it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. Thanks Kaylea and Dean for opening up your paradise for us to enjoy! 😊

We loved camping at Yabba Creek Farm, even in fairly on and off rainy weather the experience was excellent. The hosts were super friendly and helpful offering us to stay in a different site the "Mountain View" site as it had a built structure we could escape the rain under. This was a blessing we were grateful for and allowed us to stay nice and dry. We took the opportunity to use the free kayaks that are onsite to borrow and had a nice paddle around and swim in the creek with our dog. We would certainly come again and I'd certainly recommend any of the sites here as they all looked equally well maintained and spacious.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Yabba Creek Farm, the best Hipcamp we have stayed at. Our site was Silky Oaks, loads of room for our van and two other smaller set ups. Level, lots of shade, well maintained site and the views are fabulous. Easy access to the creek below for a cool swim in the close by swimming hole and the free use of Kayaks was a real bonus. Dean is the perfect host and could not have been more friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Yabba Creek Farm , we’ll be back.

Just WOW. The place was perfect. The host was welcoming and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place for a few days. The private space is better than any camping spot I’ve been too. This is my go to camping spot from now on. Thanks so much for making the place so beautiful.

“Mountain View"
I loved tent camping at this stunning property. The hosts are so welcoming and take such care and pride. The kids loved the pony rides, seeing all the animals and the trampoline and swing. Mountain View was the perfect spot for our group, plenty of room to play games, sit around the large fire pit and chill out in the little shed with the bar overlooking the mountain. We'll definitely be back.

We loved camping at Yabba Creek Farm. We booked ‘Hidden Gem’. What a spot, private, shady and great access to the creek. Dean was there to meet us and gave us all the info we needed for a great stay. We loved the views, swimming in the water hole and kayaking up and down the creek. A beautiful spot with excellent hosts. We’ll be back!

Dean greeted us on arrival and guided us to our spot. Hideaway is just the perfect name. Quiet area , flat overlooking the river. A path that can take you to the river. Over 4 days we saw turtles, jumping fish, beautiful kingfishers, Bilby and heard the koalas. The two toilets about 200m up the path are clean , and we had town water via a tap and a hose at our site. Great camp site if you love nature, swimming , kayaking ( supplied by host) and a quiet nights sleep as your away from other campers and they are also quiet. Perfect

Grey gums was a lovely big site, great fire pit. Property was really well maintained. Trampoline and swing for the kids. Visits rem the chickens and resident turkey. Creek was gorgeous and kids had a blast with the kayaks on offer. Great weekend! Thanks for having us
