Welcome to Woodlands Farm Stay and Glamping! Escape to the ultimate family-friendly bushcamp, nestled on 56 acres of serene natural beauty. Our campsites offer the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, just 2 minutes from the Bruce Highway and yet, feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. Definitely worth a stay! The animals are so cute, and it feels very private. Such friendly hosts too. Our toddler had so much fun.

My grandson loved patting and seeing the animals, plus the fairy lights were amazing at night. The hosts were very friendly and happy to have a chat. This place was so close to where we live and so relaxing, will be definitely returning.

Lovely, secluded camping amongst the trees! Close proximity to Howard. Plenty of space for caravan and vehicle. We loved getting up close with the farm animals - a couple of shetlands, very cute calves, goats, including the baby goat 😍 and the chickens. Peaceful and relaxing spot, and the hosts Susan and Vincent are very welcoming and lovely to chat to.

Situated close to the highway this was the perfect Hipcamp to use for our trip south. Despite only being a short distance from the turnoff this property does make you feel like you are in the woods. We were lucky enough to meet the lovely family who are creating this Hipcamp and can’t wait to see what they do in future. Kids loved the sandpit and play area. Goats, cows, chickens which the kids also loved and got to feed and the beautiful walk to the fairy garden. Would stay again.

lovely hosts, they have a great property with cute animals and are very thoughtful in making your stay fun with toys for kids including bikes to ride around and a fairy garden. the drop toilet is well designed, airy and no smell :)

Easy access of the highway. Host was super friendly, the property was nice and peaceful and their children's play area was great. Kept my son entertained. The free range animals were super cute and kept to themselves. Would recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The kids loved the friendly animals and the hosts were so kind and helpful. Great play area for kids, adorable fairy garden to explore and a peaceful wide open space. Easy access off the Bruce highway. We will be staying again when passing through.

Great bush camp with heaps of firewood. We stayed for 3 nights and easily could have stayed longer. Very welcoming family camp with a play area for the kids, a fairy garden you must visit at night and baby cows, goats, pony’s and chooks that the kids loved visiting and feeding. We were lucky enough to have no one around us and basically the whole place to ourselves! We’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks Susan and Vince for making us so welcome at your property 🫶🏼🏕️☀️

We stayed at Susan & Vince's property for 4 nights & it was lovely, we had so much space & it felt like we were deep in the bush but still only 5 minutes from town. The animals were very cute & the kids enjoyed playing in the sandpit - there is road noise from the highway but we didn't notice it too much.

Super convenient location close to everything but it still feels peaceful. Fabulous spot if you need to pull over for a rest stop overnight but equally very comfortable if you want to stay longer. Yes you can hear the highway in the background but I didn’t think it was at all disruptive. Susan is a lovely host. The site is relatively new and a work in progress with more facilities coming so some parts of the property are a bit of a worksite. But i didn’t find it intrusive and honestly, for the price, I thought it was great. Loads of complimentary firewood already stacked at my site. Simple but clean drop toilet. Potable water available. There is a playground and farm animals and a trail but I didn’t check those out.

Hope my last review went up as it timed out .. here it is again just in case .. Vince and Susan , thank you for having us on your beautiful property!!!! If you are travelling to #herveybay , skip the intensity of Hervey Bay and lean into this gem! Howard QLD!!! The hosts are setting up their dream hip camp property and are acing it! ✅Great safe roads to drive in - regardless of weather ✅ Police Presence so safety is +++ especially when #roadschooling or travelling into isolated areas as well as a gate and some cameras around ✅ Bush camp feel with a little noise of the passing highway - but I’m sure their roosters - cheeky animal love and noises - can drown that out :) ✅ water hookup ✅ heaps of wood to collect ✅ wildlife and nature walks and great for scat tracking ✅ doggo loved it ✅ please bring the animals carrots and apples if you visit !! They love an extra treat to normal feeds 🤙 ✅ sandpit and kiddo play area ✅ neurodivergent kid paradise and hosts who get it ! And talk to your kids like adults which is so deeply appreciated and respected. ✅❤️ neuroaffirming !

Fantastic bush sites, ours even had a water tap which was wonderful and unexpected. Loved the farm animals too. Very close to the town of Howard too which has everything. We’ll be back.

Had a fantastic stay at the Woodlands Farmstay and Glamping, my children absolutely loved being able to feed the farm animals and explore the damn. The host were very helpful and accommodating. The camp sites are set out nicely that your not to close to enough your privacy. We will be visiting again soon.

Great camp as a stop for our trip up to Airlie from Brisbane. Very convenient location to stop for the night - close to the highway but in the bush to still feel like camping. Large flat sites with plenty of room and very well looked after. Thanks for letting us stay!

We stayed in a tent for 3 nights with our dog . Susan met us on arrival. It is a beautiful spot , close to Howard Loved the walks and visiting the farm animals. Only downside is being close to the highway, it can get noisy overnight.

We loved staying at Woodlands! What a great setup, it was easy to find - the kids had a ball with the toys and the animals and was so peaceful. Vincent and Susan were lovely and have such exciting plans for the future. Thanks for the stay guys.
