Wildlife Camping Crystal Creek is located in Mutarnee, QLD 4816. Set on 79 acres (32 hectares) of natural bushland, open grassland, and tropical forest, this peaceful property offers a unique camping experience along the beautiful Crystal Creek. The creek runs for approximately one kilometre through the property, providing easy access to swimming holes and shaded picnic spots. During your stay, enjoy a range of outdoor activities including swimming, canoeing, fishing, birdwatching, bushwalking, and mountain bike riding — or simply relax in a deck chair and soak up the tranquil atmosphere. Local amenities within two kilometres include the Frosty Mango Café, Ampol Service Station, and Crystal Creek Caravan Park. A little further afield, you’ll find Paluma National Park, Paradise Waterhole, and the beach where Crystal Creek meets the ocean. Wildlife Camping Crystal Creek has 17 campsites in total. Sites 1–12 are suitable for all types of camping and vehicles, while Sites 13–17 are for 4WD vehicles only. Each site allows campfires and is pet friendly (pets must be kept on a lead). Campers must bring their own toilet facilities and remove all rubbish upon departure. At the western end of the property, eight campsites (Sites 1–8) are each approximately 400 sqm and located close together. Five of these are on the high bank of Crystal Creek, while the remaining three back onto bush vegetation. All are suitable for tents, caravans, RVs, and 2WD vehicles. Site 9 is a grassy area among gum trees, about 100 metres from the existing house and shed, and roughly a 100-metre walk to Crystal Creek. Sites 10 and 11 back onto natural bush vegetation and are about 100 metres apart, with a short 100-metre walk to the creek. Both are suitable for all types of camping. Site 12 is nestled among the trees overlooking the tropical forest and is also only 100 metres from Crystal Creek — perfect for all styles of camping. Sites 13–17 are accessible by 4WD only. Site 13 backs onto tropical forest and bush vegetation, while Sites 14–16 are set directly along the banks of Crystal Creek. Site 17 is an open area among trees, just 50 metres from the creek.
