An amazing and stunning view this campsite has can’t be explained.
More than anything, I’ve gotten a lot of help from the people from VietJess.
Our car battery was dead and she took care of us and we finally fixed our car.
It was all thanks to her.
You should try the Vietnamese coffee she made.👍👍🏻👍🏿
I will definitely visit this place again !

The land is beautiful, big open field with lots of places to camp. There is a small like you can fish in or sit out in a kayak and relax. We got lucky and had the whole area to ourselves but if you enjoy being around people and camp when others are there it seems like it’d be a lot of fun and not cramped at all. Jess the host was amazing, grows lots of exotic fruits and was very accommodating. 100% would recommend.

We found this little gem of a place.
Viet Jess which is on Rosedale Road Avondale QLD
Jess and staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed 3 nights in this most relaxing camp site Hanoi 2 right in front of the dam.
There are free kayaks with life jackets supplied.
You can fish and swim in the dam.
There is a play ground for kids and an animal farm with chooks, ducks, geese, pigs and goats.
There is also a huge veggie garden which you can help yourself to beautiful vegetables.
Thank you to Jess and the boys for the iced coffee and tea along with the melon soup that they made on our last night, absolutely delicious.
There are no toilet or showers however we were self contained in our caravan.
Everyone do yourself a favour and come and support Jess at her little hobby farm which has only been open about 3 months.
Plus we had a great meal good prices at the Avondale Tavern which is only 3 ks from Viet Jess hobby farm .

Nice spot, nice dam, great for kayaking would be great for kids. Only downside is a bit of road noise.

Had a great time at VietJess's property. The site was nice and big, grassy, with an amazing outlook of the damn. Hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The location was great with Bundaberg not too far away!

Jess was a wonderfull host, Flat grassed site, kids toys and kayaks, excellent place to stop over for a couple of nights. Easy access for all vehicle sizes and types.

Jess's place was amazing. Really nice relaxing location, not too far outside Bundy. The farm was great for kids to play. Nice open grass, a lake for a swim and kayaks to play on.
Jess couldn't do enough, very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
For the next time we would try do a weekend.

Beautiful large sites. Friendly host. Peaceful. No water or power but that didn’t worry us. Plenty if room for dog to run around. Can fish off the jetty.

This is a visually stunning location with an amazing outlook over the beautiful dam. Jess was so welcoming and gave us a huge punnet of strawberries. There is a lot of noise from the nearby road, but considering what Jess is charging for this little bit of paradise, we could put up with the noise. We had to sleep with earplugs though.

Fantastic site. Very relaxing. Each site has table and chairs with a fire pit. You can get wood from owners $10. Kayaks on the lakes free plus life jackets. Green grass sites. Plenty of room. Vegetable garden. Jess was the perfect host. Made sure we were comfortable. Gave us strawberries. Settled us in. Close to town of Bundaberg. Piece of paradise.

We loved our stay at this hipcamp!! Originally we only booked 1 night but decided to stay for an extra 2 nights because it was such a great spot. With a huge grassy area overlooking the dam, this farm was perfect for our toddler to safely explore and dogs to run around. We were the only ones there but sites were big so would have no problems still feeling like you have your own space even with other campers. Easy access from main road (can hear some traffic noise but not disruptive) and had no problems getting in or out with our 21ft van even with a bit of rain. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

We loved our time at VietJess’s.
Jessica was incredibly welcoming and provided the most wonderful farm stay. She showed us around the gardens, and was more than happy for us to use her amazing produce. Kayaks were supplied as well as timber in the fire pit! We were able to kayak and fish in the dam, meet the farm animals, and enjoy the amazing space Jessica had on offer. We had 2 nights here and can’t wait to be back.

Camping at VietJess Farm was an amazing experience. Not only was it beautiful but the hosts were incredibly kind, generous and thoughtful. Not only did they bring us firewood, but taught us to cook a Vietnamese dish which was absolutely delicious but also encouraged us to pick from their wonderful vegetable garden.
A 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone wanting a magical escape.
