It’s ok for one night, but you don’t have any toilet facilities and any trees ! You must be self-sufficient, so for 35$ it’s excessive

this was a great space for us as a larger family. Big open green space for the kids to play and very affordable compared to the nearby caravan parks which get exey for a family of 5. The space is positioned between the road and the dump (no smell and no visual of dump), neither of those bothered us though as we were out for most of the days we were there. 10 mins drive to town and beach. No facilities so need to be fully self contained.

You have just 100m by 30m wide grass patch but the 30m is between the highway and a dump site, so no would not recommend this place to stay.

This was a great cheaper option for the Port Douglas area! You do get some road noise being so close to the highway, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again. Recommend.

Great flat area. Close to Port Douglas. I can see the camp is a work in progress however I think it was abit overpriced when there is nothing to offer except a mowed paddock. The road noice is pretty bad but I don't know what you can do about that except the plants you are already growing to break the noice.

Significantly cheaper (for a family of 6) than any of the caravan parks around so if set up for off grid and don’t mind some traffic noise, it’s a great option.

This spot was super convenient, being right off the highway and really easy to find. While you do get a bit of traffic noise at times, it’s absolutely worth it for the price. The location makes it easy to get around to different places, which was a big bonus. Overall, a great value and very practical place to stay.

Great open camp spot plenty of room flat and well maintained. It’s just loud really loud being right beside the hwy. once the bamboo grows it’s going to be a fantastic spot

Great place to stop for a night or two. Loads of room, even being next to the highway, you can't really hear the cars. Cheaper than staying in town

Easily accessible site, a lot of space, perfect place to spend a night on Captain Cook Highway. Have to be self-contained. I would recommend this for a safe stop for 1 night.

Bare bones and close to the road. No amenities, just somewhere to park up near Port Douglas. This Hipcamp is in the early stages of development, down the track it should be a lot better
