Loved our few days here just what we needed beautiful views, and lots of space amongst scattered trees. We had a daily visit from Bundy a blue heeler who was very friendly. The night sky was a wonder. Steve was a great host available but left us to enjoy our time here. We were staying for 2 days but ended up extending to 4. Thanks Steve we highly recommend this property for a relaxed stay.

Steve was fantastic; friendly and laid back. He has a sweet heeler called Bundy. Very peaceful and quiet. Well maintained lawn area and a communal spot where you can light a fire if you wish. You have to enter through a gate that says no trespassing, and then turn left at the next gate where a sign says camping. A small dirt road section to be aware of. A good price, less than $20 for a couple.

Steve and his blue heeler Bundy were amazing hosts.
Lush green grassed areas, with huge sites and plenty of rooms for everyone. Water available on request, generators allowed at reasonable hours.
Located 25 minutes from Townsville makes for an easy commute into town, but allows for peaceful and safe serenity.
Spend enough time chatting to Steve and he might even give you some of his top tips and secret spots for Cape York :)

Semi Open Woodlands
Absolutely lovely home away from home camp with a very kind caretaker. I was in a pickle late at night and he helped me out with directions via multiple texts/phone calls and by coming to open the gate when I clearly was too dumb to know how to! The camp fire was lit upon entry and the grounds were immaculate when I saw them at first light.
We shared a lovely chat in the morning and puppy socialising, before I left. Thankyou for the priceless memories. Will definitely be back to this safe, quiet, spot.
