12 m travel trailer · With pets · The park is overall a decent park in terms of space between sites. It was however a little bit concerning when walking the dog at night for a pre-bedtime toilet walk, that there was basically no lighting to see the road. There were some solar lights placed around the place, but a lot of them were either not working or didn’t throw much light out. Lesson learned for us.
The manager was nice enough and overall the place was kept tidy. The theme of this park is to support veterans, both ex and serving, as well as other first responders, which is extremely nice, considering I fall into one of those categories.
The toilet area could do with some attention, in particular after some rain and people wanting to have showers and remain clean when they walk out.
There is a sense of community interaction in the camp kitchen area with a happy hour, bonfire and social gathering with other campers, which was well received by all those who attended.
