Absolutely incredible stay! Did 2 nights for a long weekend and the owners were brilliant so helpful and welcoming and interactive with us. Loved seeing all the animals and site was so clean and peaceful. Couldnt say a bad word if I tried about this place 😄

Big open space all to yourself, very private, it was an overall amazing experience, Tracy showed us to our site, then later came up to us for a tour around the farm. Absolutely loved the tour, spent time with the baby goats (lots of cuddles), then the sheep and cows.
Amazing hosts, Tracy and Alex (son) spent a good amount of time with us just chatting away, had a good laugh and spoke about Fiji since my Girlfriend and Tracy are from there.
Just amazing and warm environment.
Thank you Tracy and Simon for having us. You're amazing!

Both camp sites are amazing, well maintained and have gorgeous scenery and views! Absolutely a go to spot in summer with the creek so close by! Gorgeous in winter too, surrounded by trees and nestled away. Felt really private, and the toilet was in a good location! Thank you to Simon for a wonderful stay!! Such a friendly and welcoming host!

It is a nice spot. Owners are lovely and respectful. Not sure who owns the barking dogs at night though.

We stayed 3 nights, was amazing, Simon is really easy to communicate with and the sites are very large. Dog friendly where you doggo can be off leash. Highly recommend

We had a great camp spot on Simon's land. Finding the address was easy via Google maps where we met and Simon on our arrival. His instructions were clear and was such a lovely guy. The wildlife was beautiful to watch early morning and late evening. Thank you Simon for being such a great host and your welcoming party (your dogs) we loved 😍

The hosts are friendly, inclusive and happy to help with anything. The camp site is lovely, our dogs were able to be off leash and had the best time. A yellow tailed black cockatoo ssems to have a nest in the gum tree near the fire.......seeing those beautiful birds so close was special.

A lovely quiet spot. Our dog Lazenby, George Lazenby spent all day running about with his nose into everything. Hosts were delightful. Perfect temperature. Would definitely return.

This is the best campsite I have ever been to! It was so quiet and peaceful. You’ll have the space to yourself and won’t really see the other group. The sites are quite large with access to a creek. An overall beautiful spot. Beware that the owners sell cute puppies and you may be tempted to buy one like we did!
My only feedback would be to have a toilet closers to the campsite as to not intrude on the owners space☺️

Such a lovely spot at Simon and Tracy’s farm. So peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful hosts. Could have chatted to them for hours more than we did. :-) Highly recommend. Will definitely be back in for a winter camp. So wanted to take one of the pups home.

We absolutely loved camping at Cactus Creek on Simon and Traceys beautiful property. Nestled beside the creek, secluded within the trees, and surrounded by beautiful cactus, this trip was a perfect reset from the hustle of city life. Greeted by their gorgeous dogs and a goat (who thought it was also a dog!), both hosts were absolutely accomodating, showing us around the property and to our campsite, as well as inviting us to the daily feeding of the farm animals. This was absolutely the highlight! Simon and Tracey were both so down to earth and more than happy to have yarn. There is limited reception but that didn't bother us once. Also an accessible long drop toilet up near their house for camping use, a bit of a walk from where the campsites are located but wasn't an issue for us. Definitely want to come back soon!

Really nice shaded campsite right on the creek. We had a look at the Overflow site which I think would have been better for us but we had already finished setting up. Seemed to be a fair bit of water in the creek at this site but was a bit steep to get down. Very dry and lots of flies but that’s just the season! Would definitely recommend after rain. Only downside was a neighbours dog barking in the distance for a few hours one night.

We stayed at the site Creekside. The other camping sites were superior but this was our own fault for booking a mere 24 hours in advance. You can access the property with a small car which is great. Having an accessible toilet on the property is also a win. All the other campers ended up leaving 1 day into our stay which meant we got to explore the property and enjoy the beautiful creek situated at the other sites. Simon was also very easy going which made the whole experience smooth sailing. I would recommend this HipCamp listing for sure, just make sure you come after some rain to ensure you can swim in the creek!

Had a lovely camp at the overflow. The kids were obsessed with the creek and everything they could find around the creek bed. Easy firewood and easy set up. Nice and protected and all on our own. Property owners were lovely, helpful and friendly and had all the dogs and animal your kids will ever need. We all will be back

We have been wanting to get away for a short camping trip for a while now and we couldn't have wished for a more beautiful and perfect spot. Very nice landscape, with creek views, cleared grass area for camp site with trees close by for shade when needed. We were lucky enough to be the only campers on site and we also got to see a new born lamb only hours old.
Thank you to Simon and Tracy for opening your paddocks up for us to enjoy.
Would definitely recommend.

We had such a wonderful Easter long weekend. Simon and Tracy were very welcoming. The kids loved looking at all the animals. It was a great location for our small families to sit back and enjoy being camping with our dogs as well.

My partner and I loved our over night stay at the overflow campsite. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery it was easy to sit back and relax. Would definitely enjoy coming back again :)

This camping site was everything we expected and more!! Very helpful and friendly host escorted us to our site and also assisted us in setting up a fire when we were having trouble. It was a very peaceful flat site with a beautiful landscape for our own personal viewing! Rates were reasonable and directions given in finding the camp ground were specific and very useful. We would definitely return again and furthermore will recommend this camp ground which was one of only a few and situated a good distance apart from one another as we could not see or hear any other campers though they were there! Limited phone reception ensures you are off grid and are guaranteed to unwind and relax to the sound of the running creek and the many bird life! 👍😊

We loved our stay, very clean and private area to relax. Simon & Tracy we’re so welcoming and helpful, introducing us to the animals and even dropping off some firewood! Would highly recommend for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.
