The listing specifies 2WD access. I'd imagine that for much of the time, it is. Unfortunately, this was not the case after a heavy downfall the night prior to my arrival which left the creek crossing impassable in my vehicle. As a result, I had to turn around go home. I would avoid booking this site during the wet season unless you have a 4WD.
I would urge the host to update their listing to reflect this. Had this been mentioned, I would have booked elsewhere.

Not what I expected. Camp is not far from permanent residents in tiny homes. Noise from mowing, cars being worked on late into the night. Roaming large dogs either residents or someone that visits regular coming into the camp upsetting my grandaughter and my dogs every day we were there. Cars speeding past, visiting i would say. The only thing that was nice was the creek. Not well maintained. I wouldnt call it Safe Haven , I would call it Scary Haven. Left a night earlier then we booked for.

Nice campsite among a lush green forest and plenty of Bunya pines. I was luckily enough to try my first nuts from a fallen bunya pine cone! Short walk to a lovely creek with spots deep enough for a little dip. Campsites were flat and shaded, they were close together, but luckily we were the only ones there so it was fine. There was a dirt road on the other side of the creek- not visible, but you could hear cars passing by.

This was our third stay here, and unfortunately it will be our last. The place has gone downhill significantly since our previous visits.
We were approached around 8pm by a woman who appeared heavily intoxicated and repeatedly confronted us (for around 10 minutes) about our very quiet music, claiming it was making her dogs bark. The situation was uncomfortable and unnecessary.
What used to be a peaceful and enjoyable spot now feels unsafe and poorly managed, with disruptive behaviour from other guests. Sadly, it’s not the same place it once was. We won’t be returning.

Liquid Amber was a wonderful site to stay, surrounded by bubbling brooks, birdsong, and beautiful bovine. The site is shaded and peaceful, and if you set up correctly, nice and private. The creek is great on a hot day, but keep a lookout for ticks if you go bush walking. Would very much recommend this site.

The road into this site is not very suitable for larger set ups due to the tight turn to enter. On arrival our site had a massive pile of cut down brush taking up a large part of the site. From the description of this site we thought we would have our own space, away from others. Unfortunately this is not the case. About 50m from the campsite there are multiple tiny homes, caravans and other structures housing a number of individuals. The campsite liquid amber is essentially right next to the driveway up to these structures, and the residents came speeding in and out throughout our time there. They also sped through the campsite, nearly running over our solar panels. These individuals also had dogs that were roaming off lead, which came down to our campsite and barked at us. No one seemed to care about calling them back and our dog was very upset. One of the residents was shooting a compound bow near the campsite in the evening as well. Overall, this did not feel like a safe haven. We appreciated the fire wood left for us, and the quiet when the residents were out, but there are much nicer campgrounds in this area to choose from.

Sounds of a rambling creek 24/7 was peaceful. Magical creek setting although hidden from view from the lantana. It does provide some privacy from the road across the creek. There was not much traffic over a long week end. Nice and simple site to find from the directions.

We stayed at Banksia and absolutely loved it – the entire property is fantastic. It’s completely off-grid with no mobile reception, but for the price, it’s a little slice of heaven. Our Rottweiler had the time of her life exploring and relaxing.
To be clear, it’s not a luxury resort – so if you're expecting a Four Seasons experience, this might not be for you. But if you're after peace, nature, and a bit of paradise, this is exactly the spot. We especially enjoyed watching the cattle and kangaroos roam freely.
Highly recommend for those who want to disconnect and soak up the serenity.

We had such a great time staying at this campsite! It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with peaceful views and plenty of space to set up camp.
It felt quiet, safe, and relaxing the whole time. We loved how open and spacious it was – ideal for unwinding and enjoying the outdoors.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!
Also plenty of wildlife to see!

Great spot! Camp site was clean and easily accessible. The camping areas were reasonably well cleared. Very pretty property with great views. Would be good if the whole length of the creek was mowed and cleared down for larger camp sites with a bit more space and sun. But the campsites that were available were great.
