Liquid Amber was a wonderful site to stay, surrounded by bubbling brooks, birdsong, and beautiful bovine. The site is shaded and peaceful, and if you set up correctly, nice and private. The creek is great on a hot day, but keep a lookout for ticks if you go bush walking. Would very much recommend this site.

The road into this site is not very suitable for larger set ups due to the tight turn to enter. On arrival our site had a massive pile of cut down brush taking up a large part of the site. From the description of this site we thought we would have our own space, away from others. Unfortunately this is not the case. About 50m from the campsite there are multiple tiny homes, caravans and other structures housing a number of individuals. The campsite liquid amber is essentially right next to the driveway up to these structures, and the residents came speeding in and out throughout our time there. They also sped through the campsite, nearly running over our solar panels. These individuals also had dogs that were roaming off lead, which came down to our campsite and barked at us. No one seemed to care about calling them back and our dog was very upset. One of the residents was shooting a compound bow near the campsite in the evening as well. Overall, this did not feel like a safe haven. We appreciated the fire wood left for us, and the quiet when the residents were out, but there are much nicer campgrounds in this area to choose from.

Sounds of a rambling creek 24/7 was peaceful. Magical creek setting although hidden from view from the lantana. It does provide some privacy from the road across the creek. There was not much traffic over a long week end. Nice and simple site to find from the directions.

We stayed at Banksia and absolutely loved it – the entire property is fantastic. It’s completely off-grid with no mobile reception, but for the price, it’s a little slice of heaven. Our Rottweiler had the time of her life exploring and relaxing. To be clear, it’s not a luxury resort – so if you're expecting a Four Seasons experience, this might not be for you. But if you're after peace, nature, and a bit of paradise, this is exactly the spot. We especially enjoyed watching the cattle and kangaroos roam freely. Highly recommend for those who want to disconnect and soak up the serenity.

We had such a great time staying at this campsite! It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with peaceful views and plenty of space to set up camp. It felt quiet, safe, and relaxing the whole time. We loved how open and spacious it was – ideal for unwinding and enjoying the outdoors. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful camping experience. We’ll definitely be back! Also plenty of wildlife to see!

Great spot! Camp site was clean and easily accessible. The camping areas were reasonably well cleared. Very pretty property with great views. Would be good if the whole length of the creek was mowed and cleared down for larger camp sites with a bit more space and sun. But the campsites that were available were great.

We booked the Banksia site. It was so over grown, the grass was hip height just about everywhere. We had to pull a broken dead branch out of the tree to even get my car through to the actual site. If we didn’t have tarps and a large sand mat to cover the grass under the gazebo so we could have an actual walking area without being covered in grass seeds, weeds, spiders and ticks, we would’ve just gone home. Honestly this was the most unkept site I’ve ever been to and didn’t make for a good weekend. The site boasted you could see the creek but you couldn’t. You would have to trudge through thick bushland for 50 or so meters to even get close or walk through someone else’s camp (so we found out at the end of our trip). Also, the map for this site showed each of the 4 camping spots were reasonably far apart so you weren’t camping directly next to someone else, but again, so wrong. The next camp site was merely 5-10meters away. So much for peaceful isolated camping and the only “exploring” you could do was at your own site because everywhere you turned to try explore was just too over grown and not worth it especially if you have your dog with you. Honestly, the place just needs a slashing or mow especially where you’ve offered camp sites. This was not worth the $36/night I paid.

Beautiful little getaway. Highly recommend (just needs a mow). Super relaxing, nice and cold with a serene creek nearby. Didn’t like the bush rave down the road but out of everyone’s control.

Unfortunately the site was not well kept, there was rubbish left by a previous user, (like a dead 15L fridge, beer bottles and other rubbish, I cleaned it out and put it at the front of the site. Additionally, it was very overgrown to get to the site, could have done with a slash to find the site with ease. This site could be really lovely with a bit more work, the sound of the creek was beautiful and restful. I have to admit that I was there when there was a weather event, it rained for 3 days prior so creeks were up and ground was soaked and sodden, but that is not the fault of the owner. My car had an issue and I had to leave in hurry on the beginning of my 3rd night, if I got suck in the site, it would have been a nightmare recovery, as the site was fabulously isolated. I would have liked to have lit a fire, but the wood available to purchase at the site was soaked even though in bags produced by the owner, unfortunately the tarp covering them wasn't doing a great job, as it was old and ratty. This needs work. Was it awesome...no. Was it bad... definitely not. Will I go back, its not ruled out, but if I see effort has been made, yeah, I would go back. Loved the seclusion.

Not our vibe. Grass overgrown. Small camp area. Supposed to stay 2 nights, decided to leave after one night. We wanted to go away for peace and quiet, all we heard at 8am in the morning was a hedge cutter about 5 mtrs away. Esky and hat from someones stay beforehand. Not worth $70+ we paid for 2 nights. Definitely overpaid. We won’t be back.

We had already booked our camping weekend prior to a knowing of Cyclone Alfred coming through Southeast Queensland. Hoping the conditions would still be suitable, we reached out to the host for confirmation and received a response indicating that "at the moment, the creeks are still high." This reply left us uncertain, prompting us to send two additional emails, both of which went unanswered. Undeterred, we proceeded to the property the day of our booking and once on the property encountered the need to remove large rocks from the creek crossing to allow our vehicles to pass. Once past and up the steep hill, we were met with a scene of utter chaos. We followed the signs leading to the Eucalypt camping area, but upon arrival, we questioned whether we had made a mistake; the camping area was unrecognizable. The grass was so thick—approximately three feet high—that our XL dog vanished beneath it. The site was littered with dead fallen trees and discarded camping gear from previous visitors, including a three-seater couch, a Waco fridge, and a fan. After inspecting other sites on the property, we found them to be in even worse condition. The overall state of the property was neglected, disorganized, and resembled a snake habitat, while also being a haven for mosquitoes and other insects. We were resolute in our decision to leave immediately, as there was no way we could remain in such an environment. This site should be removed from the Hipcamp app entirely, as it is unaccep

I actually didn't make it to stay at the property booked for the night due to car issues and no phone service atm, I was charged a fee for the nights stay and wasn't able to check in and stay, so unfortunately I am unable to give a review at this time. Beautiful serene location to relax & unwind but unfortunately we had to leave the sanctity of our campsite at 8am! No chance of a blissful sleep in with an angle grinder only 10m from us, closely followed by his generator! The No Drone & No kids policy was not evident - both were there with other guests. False advertising.
