There are no bad spots on Rangetop. We loooved our experience here. I would have liked to get down to the lake but did not know how to get to it. So maybe if you want to drive to the lake then ask at the time of checking in. :-)

Beautiful spot, very well spaced sites so you barely notice there’s others also camping here. The host is amazingly responsive and all instructions are very clear. Gorgeous views of the glass house mountains from our site, and is barely a 30minute drive from home. We loved sharing the site with the friendly horses, they were not shy and came right into our camp to hang out with us.
If you have a rooftop tent I would recommend making sure you have levelling equipment as it was trick to get a true flat surface.

We were given a spot for our 16 ft caravan along a ridge top and it was fantastic - wonderful views out over the bay, north to the Glass House Mountains rolling hills behind. The sites were very well separated and we had nothing to complain about. Only an hour from Brisbane is an added bonus. We’ll be back!

We booked for 3 nights stay but unfortunately due to crazy weather we only could handle one night. Winds were 35 km/h. And this was everywhere that weekend. We persevered as long as possible but our camper just couldn't take it much more. No other camp grounds we found in sunshine coast would of had low winds that weekend. With great dissapointment we had to pack up and went to a hotel.
Viola was as accommodating as possible and very nice. The views are spectacular and great ground and drive in.
This is the best camp we have ever stayed. If the wind wasn't so bad it would be the very top spot off all the dozens of places we have camped.
Mark our words...We will be back.

TLDR : This is the perfect weekend getaway.
The host Viola was so kind and accommodating for all of our needs. I could not recommend her enough. There was easy access to the campsite in either a 2wd vehicle or 4wd vehicle. The property and views were lovely with very generous spacing between campsites. All of the roaming animals were friendly and not shy to humans which was a really nice touch. Perfect location just 10 minutes from the ocean view winery, 10 minutes from Dayboro and 20 minutes from Da’agular national park. There is an allocated spot for a campfire at each campsite too which was so lovely to enjoy as the sunset. The views were amazing with sites all the way from Moreton bay to glasshouse mountains, glasshouse mountains could be seen at day and at night the lights of Caboolture made for a very nice view. Overall would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back. Worth mentioning it is self contained but it isn’t an issue as there is a town and other facilities a very short drive away and enough privacy between campsites making it a non issue!

What an incredible stay at Rangetop Farm Hipcamp! This place is an absolute hidden gem with some of the best views we’ve experienced — stunning panoramas across the Glass House Mountains, Moreton Bay, and the Brisbane city skyline, especially at sunrise and sunset.
The campsites are huge, beautifully grassy, and perfect for larger groups, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The whole property has such a peaceful country atmosphere, made even better by the friendly horses and cattle that wander over for a visit and make the experience feel truly authentic.
The location is spot on too — just a quick drive into Dayboro for a great pub feed, with a fantastic winery and art gallery only minutes down the road for an easy day out.
A massive thank you to Viola and the crew for their outstanding hospitality. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable camping getaway with breathtaking views, beautiful open space, and genuine country hospitality, Rangetop Farm is a must-visit. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back! 🙌🏕️🍷🐴

We had an amazing stay at Range Top Farm hosted by Viola. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to guide us to our campsite, making the whole experience easy and stress-free.
The views were absolutely breathtaking — overlooking the Glass House Mountains with stunning views stretching all the way to the city. It was peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind.
Viola was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. We’d highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back again!

Second visit back to Rangetop at Oceanview. Great reliable location only 1 hr from Brisbane. Viola is so accommodating. Great to have a visit also from the friendly horses. Our dog also loves visiting the farm!!! Will definitely be back!

Amazing views high up on the ridge. Viola was lovely, communicates well and personally drove us to the site. She was the best host we have dealt with. The site is high up so expect winds but the views made it worth it. We were met by horses around our site each morning which were very friendly. The lovely rolling hills away from the hustle and bustle of life helped us enjoy the campsite so much. We will be back 100%.

We absolutely loved our stay. We were on ER2 and had a beautiful view. We arrived in the rain in an all wheel drive car towing a teardrop camper but that was no problem. It was still spectacular. We will be back again.
