Wonderful large camping areas. Fantastic host, (Dee) extremely informative. Clean & tidy amenities (100%).
Beautiful walks around their property, offering many swimming holes. The Pugh Creek runs through the property, with easy access to the creek.
There is a great camp hut next to the main swimming hole...lights, fans, kayaks, noodles, basic kitchen....bloody fantastic place.
Paradise is a definite go to. We are Cairns locals & can't believe it too us so long to find "Paridise Camp". Going back for sure.

Amazing access to fresh water creek. It was simply stunning sitting in the water and just taking nature in. Clean showers and toilets and big campsites are well maintained. Loved our stay there!

Definitely recommend. An easy drive from Cairns and close to amenities in Babinda, but you feel totally remote.
The undercover communal lounge/ dining is great for wet weather. The description of the sites can make it sound like you'll be sharing with others, but I felt totally remote (in a good way!). The creek is right by the sites and wonderful to hang out in. I didn't hear road noise at all.

In the dry and mowed with clippings blown away would be a great site, it poured down and was a swamp under feet we had to leave a day early

Beautiful setting with a lovely clear running creek to swim in. Owners are great and camp site toilets and showers are clean. Can't recommend this place enough, our second time staying here and we'll be back for sure.

Great property to camp, really good spaces. Paid for powered site. Other guests were friendly, spaced well. Lucky to have had paddock to ourselves.
Garden was beautiful, creeks lovley and fresh. Facilities outstanding! Clean, maintained, would have loved to stay longer. We will definatly be returning.

I really enjoyed my night at Paradise place. The place is well maintained by host Dee and the little creek running through the area was just perfect for my little dog. The sites are set out with enough space between to feel private enough as long as your neighbour isn’t to loud. To be honest the only negative for me was the road noise in the day but it wasn’t so bad at night that it affected my sleep. Overall I would love to come back to Paradise Place in the future.

This is a very nice camp. Camp kitchen was one of the best I have seen, nice and big and cleans showers and toilets and of course the beautiful creek. They even supply paddle boards and tyres. Will definately return.

This was our second stay at Paradise Camps - it’s such a beautiful, relaxing place. One of the swimming holes was just a 2 minute walk from where we had set up - stunning! The water was a bit cold at first, but with the hot Cairns weather, it didn’t take long to get in!!
Dee is a wonderful host and we can’t wait to visit again!
Would highly recommend staying here

My family loved camping on Dee’s property. They keep the place well maintained. Toilets and showers are in mint condition and the camping grounds are well maintained too. Dee supplies heaps of cooking equipment and utensils from the local communal hut as well as swimming equipment. The fresh water creek is always flowing and the water temperature is perfect. We look forward to our next visit at Mirriwinni Paradise campsite. Thanks for having us Dee 🙏🏽

Thisvspace is great because you cannpark under trees which give good shade, very close to creek and comunal space as well as toilets.
I loved this place everything about it, Rob and Dee very lovely accomodating and welcoming went out of there way to make us feel at home and they went out of their way to wish my mother happy birthday by putting up a sign, very attentive.
The space is gorgeous good swimming spots and lush environment, ill definitely be returning for sure!

Dee put us on a nice flat, grassy, spot away from most other campers.. it was perfect! The creek is beautiful, crystal clear water and has spots deep enough to dip your entire body and spots shallow enough that our 2 toddlers could explore. Absolutely loved our stay, thanks Dee!

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Camps however our request to be as far away from other campers with close access to the creek was not ideal. Dee was very accommodating suggesting that once booked we could change our camp location once onsite.
What we ended up with was a non powered campsite away from others but very close to the Bruce Highway, let’s say 150 or so metres or so. It wasn’t what you’d call Paradise and not only was the road noise quite loud there is also the main train line between Brisbane and Cairns and the local sugar cane rail line.
The access to the creek was quite treacherous at best for over 60’s and when we went for a swim after setting up camp there was a large group of indigenous folk who were enjoying the swimming spot from access provided via a public road off the highway. They were fine but making plenty of noise, smoking cigarettes and playing loud music in what I thought was a private location and definitely not guests of Paradise Camps that I paid $60 a night for.
The road noise was tolerable after dark and we couldn’t complain however the following day we elected to relocate further west away from the highway and although you can’t escape from the noise of the highway & trains completely it was much better. The creek near the camp kitchen is simply beautiful and the access via the concrete stairs makes it safe and easy for all levels of mobility.
All in all it’s a nice spot but $60 a night for two people in an unpowered site is a bit rich.
