Oz Sky Ranch is set on 350+ acres in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, just outside of Brisbane at the bottom of Mount Tambourine near Canungra. We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. All campers must check in before dark and call me before entering. We look forward to your enquiry.

This is good for 1 to 4 people.  We allow one night stays.  This site are is right next to our farm road on the property. It is unpowered. This is an all weather site for 2WD car.  Must check in before dark. This is a great site if you need some place for the night or for the weekend. It is right next to our paragliding and hang gliding training hill, so you can get a good view of people flying off or watching our tandem take off in the morning. This is an all weather site. The site is just about flat ground, you may need some small levelling blocks. We only allow one group at a time here. I enjoyed my stay at Oz Sky Ranch and will definitely be back..with my Kayak. The camp wasn't busy and was lovely to walk around and explore and scope out other sites.. Great communication with Lisa and a well keep camp and good instructions on arrival. The flush toilets and Showers were nice ..and many porta loos near the spread out campsites..(byo toilet paper).. which is good considering some people over use and waste when supplied. Be prepared to open and close the gates to keep the cattle in their designated areas..and enjoy the antics as they graze in the area. The wildlife encountered was lovely, turtles, Magpies, kookaburras, swallows pelicans , shags, white stork, hawks,and native frogs..and the splash of fish jumping in the dam. The dam was a love spot to cool down..and float around. I really enjoyed my stay.. thankyou.

Unbelievable ...again! Due to some rain, I was moved to the lake front. Was never down there but it is crazy awesome. I got great photos at night with the lake and the fire. If you want a great camping time, go to Oz Sky Ranch. I have already picked my site for the next trip. Will not tell which one so you don't grab it up!!!!

Oz sky ranch is an amazing place to stay!!! I had a site for my caravan right on the lake front, and it was magical!!!! The views are outstanding, the facilities are brilliant, and the property is pristine. Never slept better in my life and Lisa the host is phenomenal and extremely helpful and friendly. Would 100 percent recommend this place to everyone . Il definitely be back

Lisa is very helpful and our check-in went smoothly. Overall great experience with the lake just by the site, and nice shower facilities except for $2 hot showers and only 2 showers for such a big campsite. However 3B site is quite bumpy and on an incline, while 3A beside is nice and flat. It's right beside the gate and a 5min walk to the hosing area to wash dishes, but this means campers come and go on foot/ driving past the site 24/7. You have to go through 2 gates to get to the showers/toilets, which is a bit tedious either by foot or by car. Also, no shade at all at this site.

We understand the rules and understand they are in place from previous bad campers and to protect your property and business. But being woken at 6am every morning by the loudest ultralight plane being used for your hang gliding business was never mentioned during our booking. It was like being woken up by a 2 stroke lawn mower beside our pillow. Your rules were too controlling so we did not enjoy our camping - might as well have stayed home. And not being able to put our 12 foot sail boat on the lake because it may have got in the way of other campers, yet again someone had a V8 ski boat allowed which also stopped us sleeping- was bullshit!

We loved camping at Oz Sky Ranch. The kids had the best time kayaking, swimming and jumping off the pontoons in the water. Our spot was fantastic, toilets were close enough and the site was very clean and well maintained. Lisa was very welcoming and friendly on arrival and departure. We will definitely be back.

Oz sky ranch is a very nice place. It was busy because of the public holiday, but it was still ok. And the NRL final was on. So probably noisier than normal lol. The sites give you plenty of room between other sites. Lisa the host is very nice and helpful. We look forward to coming back 👍😃

Super basic facilities but there is a toilet near every campsite and all were left perfectly clean every time we went to them. This was our second visit to Oz Sky Ranch and it’s officially become our favourite camping spot. I came with my two kids and they were over the moon to be back — camping right beside the lake is pure magic for them. What we love most is how calm and spacious it is. No traffic noise, no crowds — just nature, water, and friendly hosts who clearly care about keeping the place beautiful. The sunsets over the water are unreal, and waking up to mist across the lake is something we’ll never get tired of. If you’re after a relaxed, family-friendly spot where kids can roam free and parents can finally breathe — this is it. We’ll be back again soon!
