Oz Sky Ranch is set on 350+ acres in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, just outside of Brisbane at the bottom of Mount Tambourine near Canungra. We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. All campers must check in before dark and call me before entering. We look forward to your enquiry.

If you want to be right near the swimming hole then this is the site for you, you can site and watch your kids go swimming and others as well. You can also watch the water skiers jump from your camp site, they are amazing. If you want to be away from people then this site is not for you. We only allow one group at a time here. Good for 1 caravans, camper trailer or tents or two roof top tents. This is an unpowered campsite with the option to have power for an extra $30/night, per hook up. There is a flat area for a caravan and the the rest has a slope to it.

I loved tent camping at the top of the hill at site 39. The views were unmatched and the privacy was nice as it was Aus Day weekend and I was solo camping. Loved swimming and floating in the dam and the cows constantly grazing nearby. Everything was beautiful and I’ll definitely be back with friends and family next time as the vibe was very family friendly. Showers were nice and clean and I didn’t actually opt for a hot shower in the middle of summer but I did have a $2 coin on me in case. Amazing host and hospitality as well everything was super smooth. Will be back!

Lisa was absolutely delightful, I so enjoyed my stay here with a few of my friends, the property is kept very clean and the property is so beautiful. Would highly recommend Oz Sky ranch to everyone. Also just a tip to absolutely go swimming in the lake. A lovely fellow who worked at the property also very kindly gave us a kayak to use, everyone is extremely friendly and always waved when going by. Lisa's ranch is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Had an awesome weekend away at Oz Sky Ranch. The sites are nice and large and spread out. There are plenty of portaloo toilets as well as access to the event centre that has $2 showers and toilets. The Dam is the star of the show. It was so nice to swim and cool down. We even had a paddle around in the Kayaks. If your really keen you can also book yourself in for a tandem Hand gliding. Lisa the host was very friend and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

A truly beautiful spot. The grounds are well cared for, the amenities were spotless, and Lisa was so warm and welcoming — she even came to introduce herself, which was a lovely touch. Such a beautiful spot to relax right on the lake with mountain views. Great base for exploring the local area with Mount Tamborine and Lamington National park not far away. Lisa was a great host, very accessible and responsive. We would definitely book again.

I enjoyed the 4 night I just had at the Ranch. The sites may be not level but plenty of space on each site. The dam was great to swim in. Loved seeing the cows, kangaroos, birds,etc. The owners are great, friendly and helpful.

Our campsite was number 40, and we loved it. In the morning, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise view, and in the evening, we had lovely sunset views as well. The site has some shade and trees, so it doesn’t get too hot in the afternoon, even during warm weather. There isn’t much thing to do here unless you want to swing at the lake, but for relaxing, it’s a great place, beautiful and calm. Lisa is very friendly, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The place is wonderful. Cold showers are free, but if you want a hot shower, it costs $2 for 3 minutes. The portable toilets are clean, but don’t forget to bring your own toilet paper.

Really enjoyed our stay at Oz Sky Ranch! This is my second visit to Oz Sky first being as part of a larger group this time just 2 of us. The Location is fantastic. Aminities are great. There is showers and toilets and dotted around the camp site are portable toilets. So your never too far away from a toilet. Lisa was fantastic so friendly and helpful. We were arriving late and wouldn't have arrived in time to meet Lisa to get fire wood but rang her and she left us a barrow full and sent us a photo of where she left it. We were delighted. The camp ground caters for groups of all sizes. My one recommendation for anyone going is to read about each site or ask Lisa about them to make sure it's suitable for your camping set up. As some sites are on a bit of a hill/slope and might not be suitable. Site 10 is on a bit of a gradient but we had no problems in our roof top tent. Site 10 is a fantastic lake side spot with easy access into the water and a fire pit already there. Also loved the cows and calves wandering about the camp through out the day.

If you can get a spot next to the lake it is 10/10! The property is beautiful. The lake is a huge draw card, and the fact that it is clean and swimmable makes it a great summer camping spot. There are pontoons that you can swim to and jump off. Very enjoyable for our family. Would reccomend!

5 Days prior to booking had family medical emergency and had to return home over 1000km away and could not keep booking. Advised host immediately. Host unable to refund any of the costs but did offer credit. Disappointed none of the costs could be refunded as I am so far away it is unknown when I will be back that way.

We enjoyed our site 3b near the lake with power. Kids loved jumping off the pontoon and swimming. Birds were great to sit back with drink in hand and watch ducks, purple swamphens, egrets, Willie wagtailsand the lone pelican catching fish. The hang guilders dropped from ultralite were cool to see. My favourite thing was watching the cows roam around and take dips in the lake to cool off from the midday summer heat...they loved it. Firewood buy on-site, hot showers $2 for 3mins were great after a swim, Porta-loos not far. Bring your own drinking water and wash up water. Come relax and enjoy the serenity.

Owner nice but struggles with the numbers which caused our trip to be very let down. After we specifically chose a site on booking, a few days prior to camp the owner changed our site without any communication. After setting us up at a site the owner told us we would need to pack up, move and re set up our camp at another site because she had mixed up the sites and there was another booking for the site we were on the next day. She was very rude and hostile towards us stating we went to the wrong site until we were able to prove that she had told us to go to this site and she had gotten mixed up when everyone was checking in and then she was very kind. We asked for complementary fire wood for having to pack up our site and move as a way to make up for it and were brought 4 pieces of wood. We were only there for 2 nights so having to move our site mid stay was definitely not worth it. The location its self is absolutely gorgeous as a great dam location, hinterland views. Multiple portaloo's and fire sites, surrounded by cows. Alot more additional rules on booking then initially advertised.
