This site has uninterrupted views over mount Lindsay and mount Barney, and also looks over our One Tree Hill, the site is only freshly slashed so hasn’t had time to green up. But it’s partly shaded and very private with its own walking tracks and a cow trough that is mostly used as a plunge pool.

We loved camping at One Tree Hill. Friendly host, spacious sites, clean bathroom and beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed the sunset from up on the hill!

Absolutely loved camping at Red Gum, felt so private and Guy and his family were so welcoming! Beautiful creek close by our campsite to dunk your feet in and relax on a hot day, will 100% be back!

Thanks Guy and your family for a great couple of nights. Truly a great farm experience and really recommend it to anyone. It was so fun being immersed in the animals, and the animal encounter was great and so worth booking! Facilities were great too.

Red Gum Hill
Guy’s land was a great spot to unwind and enjoy nature. What stood out most was the peaceful setting and how much space there was to spread out and feel truly secluded. We enjoyed feeding the animals and guys and his kids hospitality —a perfect site for disconnecting and enjoying the outdoors.

Animals and feeding were great! Red Gum Hill site had a beautiful view in the evening. Would have liked a bit more shade at the site and a bit more water in the creek for the kids to play in but overall a lovely site and stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the campsite. Our son was especially excited to help take care of the animals, and we were truly grateful for how thoughtfully you even included him in collecting eggs. Thank you so much for that kindness. After we returned home, he drew pictures of his favorite moments from the stay, and it became an unforgettable family memory for us here in Australia. The farm is incredibly sustainable, and coming from Japan, we were genuinely impressed and inspired. Everything was clean, the site was spacious, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. English isn’t our first language, so there were a few moments when we didn’t fully understand the instructions. We really appreciate your patience and understanding. We are so glad we chose to come all the way from Japan to stay here. It was truly worth it! Thank you so much! 日本から来ましたが、本当に素晴らしい体験でした。ありがとうございました。

Amazing for kids! Guy and his family are the most incrrdible hosts. Animal experiences each day including daily feeding. Swim...or mud bath by the clear running creek, collect eggs, explore, or simply sit and let the animals come to you.

We absolutely loved our stay. The views were beautiful, camp sites were really far from each other so you had total privacy. Very peaceful and relaxing. Guy and his family fed their animals twice a day and we were welcome to join each time which the kids loved. There was also a flushing toilet and a shower. What more could you ask for. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to getaway for the weekend. Our host (Guy) greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcome at all times. The kids fed the animals and collected the eggs. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved our three night stay at Dead Tree Alley. Guy the host and his children were so helpful and it was great to chat while the geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, pigs, roosters, alpacas, goats, cows etc were being fed. We will be back one day soon. We can absolutely recommend this Hipcamp for anyone wanting to relax and reconnect with nature. Only one hour west of the Gold Coast!! 10 out of 10

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My friend and I had an absolutely amazing time over the passed weekend. Guy and his children are very welcoming, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the animals they care for. The property is absolutely amazing, filled with native trees and wildlife, the camp.sites are spread nice and far apart offering a very private and relaxing stay. There is a nice creek and walking tracks to walk to, and so many animals that you could never pat them all if you tried. All of them are rescues as well which is amazing. Just to top it off, they offer a shower and toilet, as well as a little stall where they sell their home laid eggs, a fresh coffee and other things. Thanks Guy! We will definitely be back!

Our camp-site was private and quiet and serene. A perfect spot to unwind and relax. Visually beautiful and well maintained grounds. Vast and spread out. These are the nicest camping grounds I've ever camped at the "creme de la creme"🧡. Day trips out to Mount Barney and the Wyaralong Dam and the Lost World were amazing.
